Public Seasonal League Fantasy Team Ownership
- No one person shall be allowed to control an interest
in more than one WANNABE team within a single League. All available methods
will be used to prevent any sort of collusion or other unfair tactics and those
found to be in violation will be removed and banned.
- With the exception of FREE Leagues, each team agrees to
remit a small franchise fee to WANNABE Sports in exchange for the package of
services provided in that League. All fees must be rendered in US funds. Payment
may be transmitted through Postal mail or electronically through www.PayPal.com
Returned checks are subject to a fee.
- Any team owner who, in the opinion of WANNABE Sports,
ceases to operate their team is considered to have abandoned said team. Abandonment
is solely at the discretion of WANNABE Sports. Reasons include, but are not
limited to, failure to respond to official query sent to the e-mail address supplied at sign-up.
- Any team abandoned during competition will continue to participate
in the regular season using any line-up in effect at the time abandoned (subject to
changes deemed necessary by WANNABE Sports to keep the team competitive). Abandoned
teams may be assigned to new independent ownership by WANNABE Sports.
- All FREE Leagues MUST have a minimum of eight(8) independently operated
teams to qualify for WANNABE Awards (trophy, plaque, Points, etc.). Leagues with fewer than
eight(8) independently operated teams will compete and are just ineligible for WANNABE Awards.
- Should a League have fewer than the specified total number of idependently
operated teams, WANNABE-owned team(s) will be created and drafted by WANNABE Sports. These team(s)
will be interspersed within the schedule at random just as any other team.
- Each owner agrees to participate in the draft procedure as described for that
League or accept WANNABE Sports best effort to draft a roster for that team using the best method
available. Drafts are currently conducted on-line. All drafts are subject to the following:
- Draft selections and/or lists must be submitted on-line prior to the
applicable deadline. Lists can be submitted via e-mail ONLY if previous arrangements are
AGREED to -and- must be RECEIVED 48 hours before the scheduled draft start.
- The reverse-order method will be used for all drafts:
- 1st round = 1st - last
- 2nd round = last - 1st
- 3rd round = 1st - last, etc.
