Players on IR after 1pm ET today are waived. ------------------------------- #285 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Sunday, 10/11/2020 16:08:27 ET In an effort to avoid some of the difficulties covid is creating, it has been decided to make waivers unlimited for the 2020 season. This is effective immediately and will be for the 2020 season only. This is an adjustment for 2020 and NOT A RULE CHANGE. ------------------------------- #284 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Thursday, 10/1/2020 10:40:27 ET Well, we knew it was just a matter of time before Covid affected the 2020 reg. season. The PIT@TEN, week 4 game has been moved to an undertermined date and will not be played in week 4. This means that for fantasy purposes BOTH TEN and PIT are on BYE in week 4. It is believed the NFL will eventually play this game in a later week. If and when any official announcement is made regarding a make-up game or other changes to the NFL schedule we will adjust our competition as necessary. ------------------------------- #283 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Friday, 12/1/2017 13:16:52 ET **LAST CHANCE** IR ENDS with the week 13 line-up deadline. Last person turn out the lights. ------------------------------- #276 by: Pigskin Pyros (Kevin Valimont) on: Sunday, 12/7/2014 20:45:51 ET I would agree with that pick as a sleeper. He was my second pick. My team crapped the bed and I have no shot of making it past the first round. I enjoyed this league but will be dropping out for next season and concentrating on my team in the Epsilon league. Good luck to everyone in the coming weeks and good luck next season...Ciao....Arrivedercci! ------------------------------- #275 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Sunday, 12/7/2014 12:04:17 ET Assuming we can't pick ourselves, I would watch out for the Pinecones. Somehow the luckiest team in the playoffs every year. Plus, it would be another validation on this league where the best team rarely wins. Especially since they were given the free playoff pass this year. ------------------------------- #274 by: Brahma Bulls (Matthew Richards) on: Thursday, 12/4/2014 7:01:50 ET Solid prediction. I agree ------------------------------- #273 by: Pigskin Pyros (Kevin Valimont) on: Tuesday, 12/2/2014 7:35:53 ET Ok...lets see who chimes in. The playoffs are here and would like to see who thinks will win it all???????????? My prediction is that the Brahma Bulls will win it all. Anyone else want to throw in a prediction??? ------------------------------- #272 by: Pigskin Pyros (Kevin Valimont) on: Monday, 12/1/2014 6:30:10 ET Yeah, he was probably so high he thought he was in Colorado somewhere! However, he is running the ball much better now that he is back in N.E. ------------------------------- #271 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Monday, 12/1/2014 2:03:19 ET He had a prescription. ------------------------------- #270 by: Pigskin Pyros (Kevin Valimont) on: Sunday, 11/30/2014 8:38:39 ET Saving Blount eh? That's funny actually. Saving a pot smoking goal line back who is going to miss a handful of games at beginning of the next season for smoking a Blount (pun intended, sorry couldn't help myself). ------------------------------- #269 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Friday, 11/28/2014 15:02:58 ET Maybe I'm adding my keeper for next year ------------------------------- #268 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Thursday, 11/27/2014 11:36:58 ET Wack, good to see those waivers still coming through. You do realize you are eliminated at this point, right? ------------------------------- #267 by: kutta (Matthew Savoca) on: Thursday, 11/13/2014 16:44:38 ET Think how good I'd be if I cared even 1... ------------------------------- #266 by: Pigskin Pyros (Kevin Valimont) on: Saturday, 11/8/2014 17:59:01 ET And Josh Gordon....just sayin. ------------------------------- #265 by: Edwardsville Scorpions (The Scorpion) on: Wednesday, 11/5/2014 19:33:02 ET You apparently care more than zero to pick up AP :) ------------------------------- #264 by: kutta (Matthew Savoca) on: Tuesday, 11/4/2014 21:51:11 ET Titans, if I cared at a level of anything over zero about this league I might consider your advice. ------------------------------- #263 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 11/4/2014 7:26:39 ET kutta, Pinecones, Wack, You guys should drop and pick up hog huntin. You might have a better chance of making the playoffs. ------------------------------- #262 by: Brahma Bulls (Matthew Richards) on: Thursday, 10/9/2014 9:13:05 ET Anyone looking for a QB? I've got 3 of the top 7. Would have been nice if some long time users of the site were asked about what was good about the old site before they re-vamped the whole thing. I wish we still had the Legacy Pages link we had before the season started. ------------------------------- #257 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 9/16/2014 21:29:44 ET It is so hard to find stuff on the new site. Terrrible. ------------------------------- #256 by: Edwardsville Scorpions (The Scorpion) on: Wednesday, 9/10/2014 21:12:31 ET I found it, geez. Should not be that hard to find. ------------------------------- #255 by: Edwardsville Scorpions (The Scorpion) on: Wednesday, 9/10/2014 21:11:26 ET This is so not am improvement over the old pages. It is ridiculous. Can someone tell how we look at the rankings of players like we used to able to?? ------------------------------- #254 by: Pigskin Pyros (Kevin Valimont) on: Friday, 9/5/2014 13:09:31 ET Kutta is taking a chance that the DRUG policy changes brings Gordon back sooner. Not a bad risk man, its only one waiver if it doesn't work right? ------------------------------- #253 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Tuesday, 7/29/2014 21:43:54 ET Looking for the DRAFT???. On the right side of the page, under WANNABE Menu, click the menu option OWNER FUNCTIONS (must already be logged in). This loads your new team page with access to owner-only links. Find "To enter DRAFT Room: Click HERE" on the right side of the page. Once clicked, you should find yourself on the new DRAFT Agent page. Good Luck. ------------------------------- #252 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Thursday, 7/17/2014 10:57:19 ET The site Update is underway. What do you think of the changes? Good scores by both in championship as well. Wasn't going to be a gimme. Would have had to play henne which was never. Damn you redskins and rg3. ------------------------------- #249 by: Brahma Bulls (Matthew Richards) on: Monday, 12/23/2013 23:39:48 ET We started 0-7 and have been in this league since it's inception without a title. BOUT TIME!! ------------------------------- #248 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Wednesday, 12/11/2013 22:06:24 ET Glad I didn't finish first. Later Scorps. ------------------------------- #247 by: Edwardsville Scorpions (The Scorpion) on: Tuesday, 12/3/2013 7:31:38 ET Sweeeeet----Regular season champ by beating the Titan Studs by one point!! Gotta love it.....now Rodgers comes back as well....look out!! ------------------------------- #246 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Friday, 11/15/2013 16:23:13 ET As I said earlier, he should just consider letting the auto- draft pick his team, couldn't be any worse. ------------------------------- #245 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 11/12/2013 22:29:29 ET Hey Wack. Help me out. Can you tell any difference in the bottom 3 teams? Are they all dead teams? ------------------------------- #244 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Thursday, 10/3/2013 17:39:10 ET The only time it's ok to be in the bottom 3 for total score is when your opponent is in the bottom 2. ------------------------------- #243 by: Edwardsville Scorpions (The Scorpion) on: Thursday, 9/26/2013 20:20:18 ET Guess that's why I suck...never even saw Powell...but after he fucked my in Skyline last week, I do not want him anyway ------------------------------- #242 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Sunday, 9/22/2013 11:21:32 ET Pop up video advertisements? Who would pay to advertise on this fantasy football site that hasn't been updated since they added helmets to football? ------------------------------- #241 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 9/18/2013 22:26:13 ET Man, all 3 dead teams and the unofficial dead team all doing better than the Pinecones. You might want to rethink your draft day strategy. ------------------------------- #240 by: kutta (Matthew Savoca) on: Sunday, 9/15/2013 12:30:46 ET For some reason I cannot set my lineup. The site is messed up and not allowing me to do it. I have tried two different browsers. For the record, here is who I want to start: Kapernick Moreno Morris Colston Jackson Julio Fitzgerald Oakland D Feely ------------------------------- #239 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 9/10/2013 7:38:50 ET As expected, a week 1 victory. Cha ching. Time for the Back Pack to take their normal position in the standings. ------------------------------- #238 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Friday, 9/6/2013 11:57:56 ET **--APOLOGIES FOR THE SLOW START--** The difficulties with LIVE Scores have been cleared up! Scores and stats from Thurs. night game are online and scores will update regularly beginning with the 1st games on Sun. Your patience is appreciated. ------------------------------- #237 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 9/3/2013 12:34:23 ET I thought of a better analogy when playing the Studs. It's like the Wack Pack playing the Titan Studs. ------------------------------- #236 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Monday, 9/2/2013 12:06:50 ET Well, time for another season. And I see I get my usual week 1 bye. Wack is always good for a warm up. Kind of like the big college program playing a Northeast southern mountain Iowa community college. ------------------------------- #235 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 6/24/2013 10:52:26 ET Randall Cobb, last years #1 WR is available. Send me your offer. ------------------------------- #234 by: Edwardsville Scorpions (The Scorpion) on: Monday, 12/10/2012 5:50:16 ET Rodgers is a piece of shit and so are the AZ Cardinals. Lynch scores 28 lol. ------------------------------- #233 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Thursday, 12/6/2012 22:36:38 ET I think a dead team went far in the playoffs a few years ago. Think I lost to them in round one. And commish wasn't setting lineups. ------------------------------- #232 by: Edwardsville Scorpions (The Scorpion) on: Thursday, 12/6/2012 18:03:02 ET I did not see that either. That is a change from year's past. I played a dead team in the playoffs a few years ago. ------------------------------- #231 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 12/5/2012 23:26:04 ET I didn't notice that. ------------------------------- #230 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Wednesday, 12/5/2012 21:11:21 ET But notice that the dead team was passed over for playoff seeding ------------------------------- #229 by: Edwardsville Scorpions (The Scorpion) on: Wednesday, 12/5/2012 19:59:28 ET There are no dead teams this year Wack. Look at the results. The Commish set lineups this year, almost every week with all of the dead teams. ------------------------------- #228 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 12/4/2012 23:11:23 ET Apparently the pigskin couldn't handle the fact that he couldn't beat a dead team to the playoffs. That or a tie with the Broomoligists(another dead team)with the fewest points ever scored by a team in the history of FF. ------------------------------- #227 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 12/4/2012 20:33:32 ET I thought we only had 2 dead teams... ------------------------------- #226 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Wednesday, 11/28/2012 21:07:32 ET Me deflect? Nah. I'll just keep pointing out that I won, I won, I won. Good thing I'm humble, or it would get ugly. ------------------------------- #225 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 11/27/2012 17:42:51 ET Excuse me? I never said it was the end-all-be-all, well ok maybe I did, but that was before I won a Championship. Anyway, not for nothing, but look who's crowing all the while trying to deflect from said crowing. If you don't think that Bills and Eagles fans are more than tickled to see all of those Conference Champs banners hanging from the rafters, you are sadly mistaken. I'd say congrats on your accomplishment, but I guess I'll save my breath for your first round dismissal. ------------------------------- #224 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 11/27/2012 9:32:55 ET According to Wack, this season is over as we have a regular season champion. I would like to thank all the little teams that got me here. Thanks for playing! ------------------------------- #223 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Tuesday, 11/27/2012 08:41:22 ET **--IR ENDS THIS WEEK(WK13)--** Please be sure to review your roster and remove any player(s) currently on IR. Players remaining on IR after the week 13 waiver deadline (1pm ET Sunday) will be removed from your roster. Also note, your starters in the Thursday night game can not be waived after their game starts until the week changes to 14 at 1pm ET on Sunday. Don't let this slip by or players you wish to keep could be removed from your roster. Please review the rules and notify the Commissioner if there are questions. ------------------------------- #222 by: Pigskin Pyros (Kevin Valimont) on: Tuesday, 11/20/2012 19:50:08 ET My team is a walking mash unit and I can't keep a starter healthy for more than 2 games, so what the hell, I'll give Smith a try. My scores can't get any worse anyway. ------------------------------- #221 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 11/19/2012 15:13:17 ET Brandon Lloyd and Steve Smith (Car) are now yours for the taking. Maybe a fresh start on someone else's team will do them good. Z ------------------------------- #220 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 11/6/2012 9:40:08 ET Oh, look who's dropping... ------------------------------- #219 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 10/2/2012 12:24:21 ET You're lucky I wasn't feeling up to posting a message last night. Oh well, now I get to ruin your weekend in Skyline. Back-to-Back beatings, I love it. ------------------------------- #218 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 10/2/2012 8:58:24 ET Nuts. ------------------------------- #217 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Sunday, 9/30/2012 10:15:39 ET Wack, seriously, your jealousy this year for my team is getting to be a bit scary. And just think, if the Pinecones could afford decent internet service, my team would even be better. Now that's scary. ------------------------------- #216 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Thursday, 9/27/2012 16:50:40 ET I don't think your hearing problem has anything to do with my location. I think it's and age thing. You see, most people in their mid-sixties need, well, a little help. Maybe a Miracle Ear. Kind of like when you mentioned how you dribble when you pee...same thing. What's that? He's not 65? Get the f**k outta here! ------------------------------- #215 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Thursday, 9/27/2012 11:56:39 ET What? Speak up Wack. I can't hear you from way down there. All I heard was that I was 3-0 and you, well, weren't. Muahahahah. ------------------------------- #214 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 9/26/2012 11:26:37 ET Hey, whatever gets you through the day. It's probably best to treat the game like a bye, just block it out. All it's going to do is screw up your weekend. I hear you. How is that team of yours 3-0? What was your schedule? Bone Crushers, Gone hog huntting, Bone Crushers? The replacement refs won't help you this week. You've been ridding that gravy train for too long. ------------------------------- #213 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 9/25/2012 22:27:37 ET How's that work Wack? I have a bye week! ------------------------------- #212 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 9/25/2012 13:57:19 ET We should be free of the undefeated teams after this weekend ------------------------------- #211 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Tuesday, 9/11/2012 1:43:21 ET Wacky, I don't think you won a game against me in over 3 years. ------------------------------- #210 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Thursday, 8/30/2012 21:12:48 ET Wacky, are going to be able to field a team week 1? ------------------------------- #209 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Tuesday, 12/27/2011 0:04:28 ET That's one for the thumb. Wacky, at your rate of winning Championships it should only take you another 40 years to get to 5. -Z- ------------------------------- #208 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 12/20/2011 11:07:12 ET More fun facts. Either the Titans or Cones have been in the championship game 9 of the 13 seasons. They have faced each other in the championship game twice before and split. The 2011 Championship is the grudge match. ------------------------------- #207 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 12/20/2011 10:56:17 ET Good note Cones. Question for the league. What do Kutta and Wack have in common? Answer: An early vacation courtesy of the Titan Studs! ------------------------------- #206 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Tuesday, 12/20/2011 0:44:43 ET Well, for the 7th time in the 13 year history of Gold Lambda, the Championship will be won by either the Pinecones or the Titanators. That is some serious domination. Hey Wacky, why don't you crow about how important the regular season victories are again. But then again, this is probably the only league you have any chance at for this year. I think you are in enough leagues where you now have every NFL player. ------------------------------- #202 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Thursday, 12/1/2011 23:33:53 ET That's about 5 more reasons to rant than usual. The top 2 teams, winner takes all, for the coveted RSC trophy! 13 grueling weeks brings us to the main event. With a Pack victory this weekend that will make 5 out of the last 7 RSC trophies. Although they will deny it publicly, both the Studs & Pinecones agree with that feat, the "Dynasty" designation shall be given to the WPack, which I humbly accept. ------------------------------- #177 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Wednesday, 12/1/2010 10:56:48 ET This sucks. I should have had Westbrook, and while the commish investigated, I lost my chance for Gerhart. Props to MC for playing the system on this league. BTW, the comish confirmed that I should have gotten Westbrook, but he doesn't have time to review IR waivers more than once per day. Which for this day meant after the delayed waivers. ------------------------------- #176 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 11/30/2010 23:03:36 ET since when does a waiver request trump an IR request? ------------------------------- #175 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 11/16/2010 10:23:18 ET Hey, why am I collecting shrapnel? Wow. ------------------------------- #149 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Friday, 8/6/2010 9:25:55 ET Didn't Rochester Rage finish as a dead team last year? Email me if you are looking to pick up a second 1st Rd pick ------------------------------- #147 by: MC Hammertime (MC Browoca) on: Wednesday, 1/6/2010 22:21:08 ET What do you get when you combine a new owner, with a rag tag crappy team with no real keeper, that has to trade a draft pick for a WR to have a decent keeper, uses draft mastery & prowess to draft the #10 RB overall in the 8th round, and the #2 WR overall in the 14th round, then uses the very owner friendly, outdated rules, to use the injured reserve to his advantage, then uses the playoff injured reserve rule to pick up the #22 RB overall and the #1 RB over the final three weeks of the season and then due again to some interesting procedures plays a dead team in the final week? A CHAMPIONSHIP Until next year's beating.......Hammer Out ------------------------------- #146 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 12/22/2009 10:23:26 ET And note that it was the 4 playoff teams with the highest total points for the season that lost. And considering that the Pinecones had the highest point total of all, and didn't even make the playoffs is strange. It just proves that this scoring system doesn't reward consistent team management. Add this to having week 17 games for the championship, and I think we can all agree this is fun to play, but not quality fantasy football. ------------------------------- #145 by: MC Hammertime (MC Browoca) on: Monday, 12/21/2009 23:34:24 ET Just like that seeds 1, 2, & 3 seeds all fall, so much for getting those high seeds. :) ------------------------------- #144 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 12/15/2009 18:39:40 ET I’ve been out of the country for a few days, what happened? Why aren’t the Pinecones playing any body this week? Did we start putting bye weeks into the playoffs? You see I offered a fantasy football seminar titled “Winning More With Less”, but I see you must have taken the Broomoligists course “Winning Less With More”. Titan Studs took my course and passed with honors, I mean look at his team! MC Hammertime took the course and did very well. They would have passed with honors, but they traded Brady for Warner only to bench Warner! (opps, wrong league!) Anyway, somehow you managed to do something that has never been done in ALL OF FANTASY SPORTS…EVER! Including Fantasy Curling! Now as you sit back and relax get ready for the matchup of the season as the gritty Wack Pack looks to take down the Mertots in a nail bitter. Swami has this one a 36-35 shootout, with the Pack pulling it out on a last second sack! Good luck to everyone else as they enter the playoffs. You’ll need your “A” game if you want to stand any chance against the machine called the PACK! What I mean by “A” game is that you better be prepared to put up 45-50 points on any given Sunday! Ambassador WPack ------------------------------- #143 by: THE INTIMIDATOR (Ryan Bigalk) on: Tuesday, 12/15/2009 11:13:50 ET Actually if my calculations are correct its only by 58. Don’t worry there is always next year. ;) ------------------------------- #142 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 12/14/2009 20:43:35 ET I cannot believe I am going to finish as the top scoring team for the season (by more than 70 points) and not make the playoffs. This has to be the biggest anomaly in fantasy football history. -Z- ------------------------------- #141 by: THE INTIMIDATOR (Ryan Bigalk) on: Thursday, 11/19/2009 11:01:26 ET Lets see I hate having all these good running backs. Ricky Williams and L.T. are up on the trading block for an upgrade at WR or QB. I would also take a 5th round or under draft pick. ------------------------------- #140 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 11/17/2009 23:00:31 ET Look who gets chatty with a W-3! p.s. We all know that Westbrook is ready to take off, so who's ready to make that blockbuster trade? I'm willing to take a late 17th rd pick in next years draft! Ambassador Pack ------------------------------- #139 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 11/17/2009 15:46:37 ET Wack, That is priceless. Making fun of the top two scoring teams for the week, while you... Well, let's just say someone had to finish last. ------------------------------- #138 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Friday, 11/13/2009 1:00:48 ET Oh boy!...the Studs vs Pinecones...the tale of two losers! ------------------------------- #137 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Friday, 10/30/2009 11:12:30 ET This just in from the Wack Pack - "Thank you schedule makers. If it weren't for you, I'd have the worst team. For example, I'm 3 games ahead of the Titans, but they've outscored me for the season. Oh I am soooooo lucky." ------------------------------- #136 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 10/28/2009 13:54:00 ET Is that an L5 next to Studs? If you need some help, give me a call offline. You being at the bottom of the standings with 1/2 a league of in-actives is really damaging to my World Champion status! Let's pick it up! Thanks AWP ------------------------------- #135 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Sunday, 10/25/2009 2:34:36 ET Did you see who I'm playing? I like my chances against Devry University! ------------------------------- #134 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Saturday, 10/24/2009 0:36:34 ET Oh Wacky, Is that Crabtree I see in your starting lineup? You should thank the Gods now for those 4 victories and prepare yourself for the first pick in next year's draft. -Z- ------------------------------- #133 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 10/21/2009 0:41:35 ET All As not only reigning World Champion but Ambassador of the WBFL, it is my duty to insure that there is a competitive balance in the Lamda division. Despite the overwhelming fan response for the Pack to dominate week in and week out, in my typical unselfish style, I’ve chosen to field the “feel good team”. That’s the team that makes you feel good about your team. At some point I can no longer coddle the underachievers in this league. Consider yourself all on notice! Ambassador WP ------------------------------- #132 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Tuesday, 10/20/2009 17:49:42 ET Wack, I recommend you take your own advice and start hating on your team... because it is abyssmal. You should be embarrassed about what you assembled. 55 points.. that's a strong week for that weak squad. Is "Repeatsville" anywhere near "Missedtheplayoffstown?" because that is where you are headed. -Z- ------------------------------- #131 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 10/20/2009 17:00:10 ET I can't control the fact that the Mertots were absolutely dominating last weekend. Had I played Cutler instead of Rivers, I'd be 5-1. I view this past weekend as a mere detour in my journey to Repeatsville! Don't hate the playa, hate your team!! ------------------------------- #130 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 10/19/2009 23:57:31 ET Wack, Another stellar 55 point outing. Unfortunately for you, your opponent managed to post a score in the 75 percentile. Like the Dr said... you keep plugging along at 50 a week, and the playoffs will be something you'll be on the outside looking in at. -Z- p.s. This may just be the best Pinecone team in history... which by default means it would be the best team in Gold Lambda history. ------------------------------- #129 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Friday, 10/16/2009 3:48:26 ET If you'd like the opportunity to bet on game, wihhout any cost, check out the following site: https://www.centsports.com/?opcode=220443 Make sure you make me your "cronie" that we we share in our winnings. Scorp and I are already playing... it really is fun... it doesn't cost a cent... so check it out. -Z- ------------------------------- #128 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 10/14/2009 23:01:52 ET No worries here Wack... you keep plugging along with your 50 points a week and we'll see who is still standing come playoff time. -Z- ------------------------------- #127 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 10/13/2009 14:29:46 ET Alright, the Pinecones couldn’t beat an inactive team with 2 players on a bye. Let’s see if he can muster up a win this week when he faces yet another inactive team with 4 players on a bye! Take a lesson from the Ambassador, field a crappy team, just make sure that the team you play is a bit crappier! ------------------------------- #126 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Monday, 10/5/2009 23:58:58 ET I wish all weeks were this easy!!! ------------------------------- #125 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Thursday, 10/1/2009 1:00:17 ET The Ambassador may not be a big fan of Forte and Westbrook right now, but he still looks forward to playing the Studs this weekend... ------------------------------- #124 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 9/15/2009 9:59:50 ET Congrats to the teams over 100 in week 1. And Wack, maybe we should start doubling your score to help you out. No, never mind. That still won't get you to the 100 mark. ------------------------------- #123 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Tuesday, 9/8/2009 19:15:18 ET My recent acquisition of AP has made Larry Johnson expendable. I am also willing to put Michael Crabtree on the block for a sole with some forethought. I'd be willing to package the two (plus Larry's handcuff Jamaal), for the right price. I'm only looking for a quality WR (and I am not talking top 15) and an adequate RB. -Z- ------------------------------- #122 by: Brahma Bulls (Matthew Richards) on: Saturday, 8/29/2009 18:57:41 ET I loaded up on RB's in the draft so....ALL DAY ADRIAN PETERSON is up for grabs. If somebody WOW's me with an Upgrade at Receiver and or QB I will consider it. ------------------------------- #121 by: MC Hammertime (MC Browoca) on: Saturday, 8/29/2009 14:13:55 ET Thank you so much Mr. Ambassador. I can see I am ensconced by greatness, and I am a bit overwhelmed, but thank you for the tips. I can see by the history that you are indeed a fine player, along with Titan and Pinecones. Looks like that Desert Dogs did have a pretty good owner, making the playoffs every year practically but had some rough luck in the playoffs. I will my best to try and live up to expectations. I believe I will be up to the task. MC ------------------------------- #120 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Saturday, 8/29/2009 13:33:54 ET ATTN: Newbies Today’s the big day. This is what we’ve all waited for…Draft Day! For our newcomers there are a few things to keep in mind. We move at a blistering pace and once on the clock you have 1 minute to process all of the research you’ve done, evaluate who’s still on the board and make that critical decision. Or if you’re the Pinecones, 2 seconds to throw a dart and 58 seconds to sit and play with your pinecones. Another approach that you might take is the Titan Studs approach where you let the computer pick your team. The good news is that you have a chance to make it to the Championship. The bad news is that if you make it, chances are you’ll have the lowest score…EVER! Regardless of your approach, it will take every ounce of concentration to put together your Dream Team. Unless you’re the Broomoligists, then another unit of measure comes to mind…dime bag! Because by the 6th round you’ll be asking yourself, “What is he smoking?” Just kidding, you don’t smoke GHB! With that, lets make today the day it was meant to be…ONE AWESOME DAY! Good luck to everyone. Ambassador WPack ------------------------------- #119 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Friday, 8/28/2009 14:46:23 ET Wack - ambassador of looking at himself in the mirror ------------------------------- #118 by: WC Broomoligists (robert strader) on: Monday, 8/24/2009 7:08:43 ET OMG You must have been sitting thinking of what to write since the season ended last year. Also it is good to see that winning hasn't gone to your head or anything.I can't wait to get this stuff going. ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL ------------------------------- #117 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Thursday, 8/20/2009 13:53:08 ET WELCOME NEW OWNERS As reigning World Champion and recently appointed Ambassador of the Gold Lambda League, I’d like to welcome our newest members MC Hammertime and Purple Haze. You might look around and notice that there are other owners with longer tenure then myself, but quite frankly they don’t have a lot to offer as a voice of the league. Sure, give an address in any metropolitan city to the Pinecones and he’d be able to tell you the nearest strip club including Chippendales. And o.k., Titan Studs is on a first name basis with every bail-bondsman west of the Mississippi, but beyond that there’s not a lot there. It’s refreshing to have some new faces in a league committed excellence. You’ll find that you are now playing with the best of the best. MC Hammertime, it is exciting to see that you have already made a move to improve your team. Unfortunately, you inherited a real dog of a team. Although we didn’t know the former owner personally, we took an informal poll last year and felt that if he were an actor he’d be voted “Most likely to go full retard!” We know that challenges lie ahead, but from what has already taken shape, this should be an exciting year for you. Purple Haze, you have some equally challenging times. You too are inheriting quite a stinker. Again, a few years back when they were the Desert Dogs, the owner didn’t quite have a handle on how the game is played. After his third year of drafting a kicker in the first round, for the sake of the league and in order to maintain the high level of standards we are known for, we voted him out. I believe he now is setting his sights on the newly formed UFL fantasy football league and we wish him well. One thing to note is that you must have patience with the Commish in our league. He tends to be a little slow to respond, as I am still waiting for my 4 Regular Season Championship awards. Anther thing to keep in mind is that some of the owners might get a bit boastful of things that happened in the last century (*cough* Pinecones!). That’s just another aspect of this league that makes it great, because as he makes his annual early exit from the playoffs it gives us all one more thing to celebrate during the holiday season. With that, on behalf of the Gold Lambda League owners and the Commissioner of the WFFL, welcome to Fantasy Football 2009! And to all of the owners, good luck as we strive once again for the coveted RSC award! I am officially posting this here to let you know Commish that I want Boldin as my FP and no TP. Thanks MC ------------------------------- #115 by: MC Hammertime (MC Browoca) on: Saturday, 8/15/2009 0:16:38 ET Wanted Aaron Rogers as my FP, not sure if Mertots accepted or not? Send me some offers if you would like to. ------------------------------- #111 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Monday, 12/29/2008 0:28:27 ET Dear Commish: On behalf of the entire Wannabe leagues throughout your web site, I whole- heartedly reject this so called “honor” of being labeled “2008 League Champion”. Until you make this a 16 week season in which ALL teams have a chance at fielding a full team without having to worry about who will and won’t play this week because of the upcoming playoffs, I look at this league as nothing less than a league that truly observes the regular season as the “true” champion. Of course, I speak for all of the jellyfish in our league. That being said, if there’s some shameless symbol of my greatness that you need to dispose of, please forward to: care of: Bad-Mambajamba P.O. Box 1Awesome Ln. Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 ------------------------------- #110 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Monday, 12/15/2008 9:55:58 ET Wack - I will have to admit, that was probably one of the best posts we've had. Definitely better than any Pinecone rants. And the Intimidator's wasn't even close. It was so good, I had to wait a few days before responding so everyone had the chance to read it. But what exactly is this award ceremony? The "I get close but never win the Championship awards?" I'm sure the Cones will agree, we'll be too busy attending the real awards ceremony. I know you've never been, but it's a lot of fun. (Note that the Cones and I have 5 of the 9 championships since the league has started.) Sinerely, The Studs ------------------------------- #109 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 12/9/2008 12:24:24 ET ...Please review my awards speech for any typos. I want this night to be perfect! Thanks. AWARDS SPEECH (allow 3 minutes for roaring applause and standing ovation)(smile and wave) Thank you…thank you…enough! Thank you, you guys are too much! It’s great to be back in NY City. This never gets old(choke up). I look forward to this podium every year and now that it’s been 4 out of the last 5 years, you might say this podium looks forward to me!(pause for laugh) It’s great to see everyone here tonight. Pinecones! You made it! I’m glad your parole officer gave you permission to attend. You know, the Pinecones a shy guy so I’ll speak for him, does anyone know where the nearest Russian bath house is? Oh wait, never mind, I see that Titan Studs is here, he’ll know.(awkward pause while Pinecones and Studs exchange creepy information) You know as a young boy growing up in rural North Dakota I would never have imagined that one day I’d be playing in a league where the competition was so intense, where the owners gave 110%. It’s truly an honor to play with the best-of-the-best, as well as the Pinecones.(pause for applause) Although Thanksgiving has passed, I’d like to take a moment to say thanks to all of those who made this possible once again. To the Bulls and Intimidator, thanks for making this a 3 way tie which caused us to go to the total points instead of that head-to-head record thing. Give it up for those two! (applause) To the Pinecones for finally fielding a team and adding some legitimacy to the league. For awhile there I thought we had 3 inactive teams! (pause for laugh) Hopefully next year we’ll find owners for Total Annihilation and Titan Studs…just kidding Studs, take the bullet out of the chamber!(more laughter) We can’t forget the Commish. Thanks for making this a 17 week league that pretty much wipes out any competitive balance in the playoff final while ½ of the players are resting for the NFL playoffs. With this decision you’ve made the Regular Season Championship the flagship award. I know you all agree! (pause while the Commish types up a scathing email outlining disciplinary action) But most of all I need to thank the Broomoloigists for truly making this happen. Had he not allowed me to unload Bowe and pick up Colston I would be down there tonight, sitting amongst you looking up at this stage. You might all remember just a few weeks ago against the Bonecrushers, down an insurmountable 48 pts going into Monday night, with only Brees and Colston as my players remaining. It was late in the fourth quarter and although my boys scratched and clawed their way back to score 29 points, we were still down 19 points. With hurricane-type winds and rain in New Orleans, we were going to need a miracle. Well I’m here tonight as proof that miracles do happen. One 70yd bomb from Brees to Colston not only got me the 19 points I needed but another 9 to spare. And it’s all due to Colston. WC,… you are my MVP!(applause) In the words of Jerry Maguire, “You, complete me!”) (pause for emotional outburst)….Now as we venture off to the playoffs for a 3 game sprint including a pretty much meaningless final, I want to wish all of you the best of luck. Thank you and good night! (walk the stage and give a McCain-like 2 thumbs up) ------------------------------- #108 by: THE INTIMIDATOR (Ryan Bigalk) on: Tuesday, 12/9/2008 11:59:51 ET HAHA yeah unless you just wanna put all your bad players in. So yeah good luck to you. ------------------------------- #107 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 12/9/2008 10:48:27 ET Good first year Intimidators. I'm sure you can understand that I'm hoping you have a Round 1 exit this year. lol ------------------------------- #106 by: THE INTIMIDATOR (Ryan Bigalk) on: Monday, 12/8/2008 18:54:23 ET Hey guys just wanna tell you it has been an awesome first year for me. I would enjoy it if you all would take it easy on the rookie and good luck in the playoffs to all you that make it. :) ------------------------------- #105 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 12/8/2008 17:15:17 ET Let's go Steve Smith... you just need 15 points and the Wacked Pack will have to face the Pinecones in the first round of the playoffs. Wacked, you should be salivating, because you always take down the Pinecones... right? -Z- ------------------------------- #104 by: WC Broomoligists (robert strader) on: Thursday, 11/20/2008 0:25:26 ET This will be a repeat of the baseball season you watching the championship game. Me winning it. And the trade I traded Colston and JT O'Sullivan for Housh, Bowe, and Ryan so I just I should be saying thanks too. I said it before I'm here to change things and have yet to be proven wrong. ------------------------------- #103 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 11/19/2008 13:27:19 ET Wacked, I haven't seen any of that witty repertoire you like to spew around here lately. I need to thank both you and WC once again for allowing me to trade dead weight for Kurt Warner. Who did you get again... oh that's right Colston; way to go Big Red Express (fyi, the Dr offered Matt Ryan, Calvin Johson, Darren McFadden and a swap of my 7th round pick for Wacked's 9th round pick in next year's draft for Warner... thank God Wacked is a master of evaluating talent and went with WC and Colston). Why don't you go back into your record books and see if a team has ever been the top scoring team for the week... 3 weeks in a row. Talk about peaking at the right time... and it was only a matter of time (and acquiring the #3 ranked QB in a QB dominant league) until the Pinecones were back rolling. The Dr has been here since 1999 (back when this was a 14 team league), and he has yet to miss the playoffs. Here is hoping that you stay right where you're at (in the standings), because the Dr would love nothing more than to knock the Wacked Pack out of the playoffs for the umptieenth year in a row. How many games did you win last year, only to be smoked by the Pinecones in round #1? By the way, when you are waxing historic in your inevitable reponse to this message, why don't you once again remind us all how many Championships you've taken home. THANKS AGAIN WACKED AND WC... I COULDN'T HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU!!! -Z- ------------------------------- #102 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 10/14/2008 0:38:07 ET Hey, WC, there's an offer out there for you. ------------------------------- #101 by: WC Broomoligists (robert strader) on: Monday, 10/13/2008 13:43:00 ET I'm in dire need or a QB anyone interested in trading. ------------------------------- #100 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 10/7/2008 1:11:56 ET Great match Titan Duds! ------------------------------- #99 by: WC Broomoligists (robert strader) on: Tuesday, 9/30/2008 0:31:53 ET great match Titan Studs!! ------------------------------- #98 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Saturday, 9/27/2008 21:14:42 ET Hmmm...it doesn't feel like a rebuilding year! ------------------------------- #97 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Friday, 9/26/2008 21:24:29 ET This is a rebuilding year. ------------------------------- #96 by: Wack Pack (Mark Blilie) on: Sunday, 9/14/2008 2:01:10 ET I love beating the Pinecones! ------------------------------- #95 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Saturday, 8/23/2008 18:35:58 ET Looks like we have some people on auto pilot/pre-selected lists. 6 WR's in the first 6 rounds? 3 QBs early? ------------------------------- #94 by: Onalaska Mertots (Tom Ballinger) on: Tuesday, 8/19/2008 20:07:57 ET It's that time of year again! Hard to believe this is already year number 10 for several of us 1999 originals! It's been a good league--looking forward to many more years. Welcome to the new owners thanks for hopping in an keeping things going. Let the games begin! ------------------------------- #93 by: Pinecone Crushers (Mark Blilie) on: Friday, 7/18/2008 21:11:07 ET I think it's time for a change. I only ask for 3rd round pick for him. ------------------------------- #90 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 7/15/2008 14:00:30 ET I'm willing to trade up in the draft for first round picks. I'd give Marvin Harrison up as a keeper for someone. ------------------------------- #89 by: THE INTIMIDATOR (Ryan Bigalk) on: Thursday, 7/10/2008 17:03:57 ET Hello people as you can see im new and am just wondering if any of you want to give me any offers for draft if you do just put it back on here or e-mail me GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE ------------------------------- #88 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 12/23/2007 20:52:59 ET UNBELIEVABLE!!! Pinecones v. Mertots in the finals. Who woulda thunk it? ... Here we go Pinecones.. here we go! ------------------------------- #87 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 12/17/2007 23:48:15 ET PINECONES WIN!!! Who needs Brady, Tomlinson and Housh when you have Favre, Maroney and Branch. 2007 was not the year to be a top seed, only the decrepit Killers were unable to pull off the upset. Another year... another failure. There's always next year Killers (your annual mantra). -Z- ------------------------------- #86 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Friday, 11/2/2007 21:01:34 ET You have relied on your own wisdon, which has lead you astray. You thought to know it all, but you tripped and have fallen backwards. ------------------------------- #85 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Monday, 10/1/2007 20:15:59 ET Maroney inactive?? Yes, another quality Killer victory! ------------------------------- #84 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 9/30/2007 11:59:40 ET You may want to check your watch. ------------------------------- #83 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Saturday, 9/29/2007 1:00:22 ET It's time to beat the Pinecones! ------------------------------- #82 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 9/18/2007 18:09:47 ET No, I'm feeling pretty good. Especially when I get to play the Bunglers or whatever they are called this weekend! You can run but you can't hide. I'm back baby, and ready to wrap up another season on top of the leader board! ------------------------------- #81 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Sunday, 9/16/2007 11:18:07 ET So let us summarize. The regular season means nothing. The last 3 and the Championship mean everything. The Studs have made it to the finals 3 times, and have won twice. The Killers, hmmm. Made it once and have a big nada. That has to hurt. ------------------------------- #80 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Sunday, 9/16/2007 1:29:46 ET We all know that the 1st 14 mean nothing...it's all about the last 3. LT is'nt there to save the Studs this year. Talk to me when YOU can 3-peat anything! ------------------------------- #79 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 9/11/2007 21:45:36 ET New year, same result. Killers, keep working at it. You will graduate to the big leagues some day. When you can snatch the pebble from my hand... ------------------------------- #78 by: Bidwell's Bunglers (Matt Savoca) on: Monday, 9/10/2007 19:01:36 ET I assume you mean you can't figure out how you have such a weak team? Cause it is pretty bad. ------------------------------- #77 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 9/10/2007 18:28:12 ET I am not goig to lie to you... that was rough. But I can honestly say I am not sure how I assembled the team I assembled. ------------------------------- #76 by: Bidwell's Bunglers (Matt Savoca) on: Monday, 9/10/2007 11:47:58 ET HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! The Pinecones go down week one to the CASON Express! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! ------------------------------- #75 by: Total Annihilation (Mark Hohmann) on: Saturday, 8/18/2007 8:33:03 ET Aveion CASON as a keeper? Is this an error? ------------------------------- #74 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 7/25/2007 1:04:12 ET Tony Romo Torry Holt Anquan Boldin All available for trade... asking price just a 7th round draft pick. ------------------------------- #73 by: Buckeye Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 7/25/2007 1:01:56 ET Tony Romo Torry Holt Anquan Boldin All available for trade... asking price just a 7th round draft pick. ------------------------------- #72 by: Beaver Repellent (Mark Hohmann) on: Thursday, 5/3/2007 13:50:41 ET Hello all. I'm new to the league. Not much on the team that I took over that is worth a whole lot, but feel free to send any offers my way. No player is untouchable. Also willing to trade down in the first round for the right offer. ------------------------------- #71 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 1/3/2007 13:11:34 ET Congratulations. I agree. Trying to figure out the week 17 lineup is almost like having to figure out upcoming lottery numbers. ------------------------------- #70 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 1/2/2007 13:41:03 ET All kidding aside, good year everyone. Now if we could just get the championship game moved back to week 16, things would be great. ------------------------------- #69 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Monday, 1/1/2007 0:09:08 ET Yo San Quinton, Bummer having all those points on the bench. Better luck next year trying to win your first championship. #2 for the Studs!!!!! ------------------------------- #68 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Saturday, 12/16/2006 0:18:23 ET Studs, beware, one more win from the Chargers and guess who's sitting? I see an abrupt end to your season if your only points are on the bench. I feel your pain, it happened to me with Peyton two years ago....the year that my team was the class of the field. Because of that, I have technically declared myself the champ that year. I'm sure if you look at the stats you'll agree. ------------------------------- #67 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Thursday, 12/14/2006 23:37:17 ET Yo Killers, What are you talking about? I couldn't understand anything you said other than you have never won the big one! ------------------------------- #66 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Thursday, 12/14/2006 0:05:11 ET Studs, you had to win out the last 6 weeks just to be in the same company. All this tells me is that you didn't face the Killers over the last 6. Oh sure, you've won it all before, but until I win a championship I must discount the value of a 3 game sprint over that of a 14 game bone crushing- blood spitting-live or die-14 game marathon! ------------------------------- #65 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 12/12/2006 8:20:31 ET And a season tie where you didn't have the total high points. (and yes, I did!) ------------------------------- #64 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 12/12/2006 0:13:55 ET Regular Season 3-PEAT!!! Thank You! ------------------------------- #63 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Wednesday, 12/6/2006 23:17:11 ET You got it Killers. No if you could return the favor and toss the game this week, it would be appreciated. Of course, the optimal situation is to play the Pinecones in the playoffs. Automatic pass. ------------------------------- #62 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 12/6/2006 14:21:56 ET OK Studs, I'm pulling for you this week. You can do it buddy! ------------------------------- #61 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Thursday, 11/23/2006 23:12:04 ET Onalaska... Thanksgiving is a day for giving thanks, so thank you, thank you, thank you, for not accepting my trade proposal of Romo for Burress. That would have been my death knell. -Z- ------------------------------- #60 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Thursday, 11/16/2006 11:29:47 ET The OFFICIAL NFL scoring for week 10 has changed. The NFL has changed the status of the touchdown scored by PHI in the second quarter of the WAS@PHI game. Originally scored as a fumble recovery for TD, it is now officially a reception for TD. As this change was made official by the NFL within the challenge period provided by the Gold League rules, scoring for this league has been updated accordingly. Please direct any questions to the Commissioner via email or the online contact form. Thank you. ------------------------------- #59 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Monday, 11/13/2006 7:27:39 ET Hey Pinecones, Surprise. ------------------------------- #58 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 11/6/2006 10:13:59 ET Let's go Josh! ------------------------------- #57 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Thursday, 10/19/2006 18:36:01 ET Timberwolves... Keep scrambling... but what could have been had you not draft Culpepper in the 3rd with all those QBs still on the board. -Z- ------------------------------- #56 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Tuesday, 10/10/2006 3:22:20 ET 34 Desert Dogs? That makes losing to you even more embarrassing. Are you even bothering to set your lineup? ------------------------------- #55 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 10/4/2006 23:15:12 ET I can't win for losing with Team Ds. Last year I wasted 5 or so waiver picks trying to pickup a decent D (and failing every time). This year I decided to go ahead and waste an early draft choice on what I thought would be a top 5 D (failed again). Anyway, the Carolina D is now out there for the taking. I am sure they'll turn it around now that they are off my squad. -Z- ------------------------------- #54 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 10/4/2006 0:39:36 ET The Pinecones are just fortunate that they don't have to play the Killers ever Sunday or they too would be sitting at a meager 2-2. With T-mo- Bell getting the load, watch out!..it's going to be long season in Surprise. At least the owner is in 14 other leagues, so he's got 13 other chances of not finishing last! ------------------------------- #53 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Tuesday, 10/3/2006 10:44:42 ET 39... Ouch! That hurts the 'ole season points total. -Z- p.s. 100 doesn't. ------------------------------- #52 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 9/20/2006 20:04:05 ET Poor Killers... Are you a little bitter about that Pinecone thrashing? Or is it my ability to drop and pick-up Toomer out from under your nose? Being in first place is nothing new to the Dr. You may want to peruse through the records history. By the way, how many times have the Killers been the season Champion? We won't rehash the Dr's incredible record over the past 8 years... I believe everyone in the league is well aware of my total domination. -Z- ------------------------------- #51 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 9/19/2006 22:54:45 ET Pinecones, you drop Tumor, you add Tumor. What's up? Getting rattled in 1st place? I know it's been awhile since you've been there, but don't act like a virgin at the Bunny Ranch and blow your load before you even unwrap the jimmy! ------------------------------- #50 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 9/18/2006 21:39:29 ET It has been and always will be... Pinecones before Cardinals. Besides it shouldn't have even mattered if you hadn't been so lucky and got those last minute scores. ------------------------------- #49 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Monday, 9/18/2006 12:00:04 ET The owner of the Pinecones is not a Cardinals fan! Anyone cheering when your so called team misses a pair of field goals, is no true fan. Thank goodness that his team, or as I like to say the 2005 Killers, came through in the clutch. But I'm not bitter! ------------------------------- #48 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 9/13/2006 13:13:39 ET It's time to put the big hurt on the Pinecones. It's only week 2, don't get discouraged with a 1-1 record. The good news is that you don't have to play me again for a long time, so there is hope. Reggie! Reggie! Reggie! ------------------------------- #47 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 9/6/2006 11:02:20 ET Killers, Nice WR corp. You trying to corner the market on WR3's? Is that Reggie Brown I see in your starting lineup? -Z- ------------------------------- #46 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Saturday, 8/26/2006 16:57:52 ET Cones, how do you not have the #1 pick? You might want to consider changing that name. I mean Pinecones and Surprise don't really go hand in hand. How about Average Joe's. Word on the street is the Boldin is getting demoted in favor of B Johnson. Between that and Holt's week 3 ACL tear...you might want to draft thinking about 2007! ------------------------------- #45 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Saturday, 8/26/2006 2:49:52 ET Killers... Tatum Bell and the 10th pick... OUCH! 15 wins over two seasons is nothin' to complain about... so keep yer chin up. ------------------------------- #44 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Monday, 8/21/2006 13:30:25 ET Ah, it’s that time of year again, when Sundays are filled with anticipation, and the Pinecones find a way to lose. Sorry, Losers is politically incorrect…they’re win-challenged. After I steal Mike Bell in the 1st and snap up Dayne on the turn, I’ll have the Bronco backfield wrapped up. That and the Cones twice in a season has 3-peat (regular season) written all over it! ------------------------------- #43 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Thursday, 8/17/2006 0:38:20 ET Alright... I get to close the season on a high note with a couple of wins over the Killers and the Dogs. That should solidify my position as the top seed. ------------------------------- #42 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Friday, 7/7/2006 12:30:50 ET Is it time yet? ------------------------------- #41 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 12/20/2005 16:19:59 ET What was that Pinecones? I think that's the second time Gado has let you down. Consider yourself lucky, know you can watch the final 2 weeks not having to worry about how your team will lose. Well, there's always next year! ------------------------------- #40 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 12/18/2005 0:11:48 ET Serial Killers... you goona' choke again and lose in the 1st round to the #8 seed. You're such a pretender. ------------------------------- #39 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Saturday, 11/19/2005 0:33:26 ET I'm just glad that Grog didn't take me up on a trade for Green a few weeks ago. ------------------------------- #38 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Thursday, 11/17/2005 21:14:54 ET Panic mode set in yet Killers? ------------------------------- #37 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 11/9/2005 0:56:30 ET Who the hell goes for a 2 pt. conversion when you are up 40-21 with 5:32 left in the game??? ------------------------------- #36 by: Bidwell's Bunglers (Matt Savoca) on: Tuesday, 10/11/2005 12:14:04 ET Quite whining Titan "studs." ------------------------------- #35 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 10/11/2005 9:20:21 ET How can an IR move be made on a Monday? Shouldn't this be in the "delayed" period? ------------------------------- #34 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Sunday, 10/2/2005 19:37:30 ET The Cones are confusing!!!! I give you the option of picking my QB, you pick the QB that is facing your monster D, and then you bench the D! What up with that? ------------------------------- #33 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Thursday, 9/29/2005 0:23:53 ET Oh man, that's a bad choice. Haven't you looked at Green's past? He doesn't take off until week 4. Doesn't metter who he's playing. It could be the Pro Bowl with the best of the best in the secondary and Mr Green Jeans is a lock for 350 and 4. I'll tell you what, if Sunday morning rolls around and your tummy is turning, and you're poppin Rollaids like their Tic-Tac's, I'll still honor any changes you'll probably be tossin around. I'm just that kind of guy. ------------------------------- #32 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 9/28/2005 23:29:40 ET Green. ------------------------------- #31 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 9/28/2005 17:42:38 ET I've figured out why the Pinecones are in so many leagues. If this was your only league it would be a long season. 5-9 is still not out of the question for you. I'll tell you what, I feel bad for your team this year, so I'm going to help you out. To give you a chance this weekend I'll let you pick my QB. You can choose between Vick or Green. Which one would prefer to lose to? I just don't want to hear your girlish screams after this weekend on how lucky I am. This way, there should be no complaining...at least for a day or so. I'd give you 10 pts, but the Commish wouldn't let me do that. ------------------------------- #30 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Tuesday, 9/27/2005 22:05:52 ET Julian Peterson is a punk... I've got 3 guarantees: 1. Pinecones crush the Serial Killers. 2. Pinecones is the top scoring team for the week. 3. Serial Killers' owner contemplates abandoning team. -Z- p.s. You can take those to the bank. ------------------------------- #29 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Wednesday, 9/14/2005 0:48:41 ET I was surprised by that as well. ------------------------------- #28 by: Desert Dogs (Chris Browner) on: Tuesday, 9/13/2005 21:31:11 ET I never remember waivers being at 12:00 on Tuesdays, is that a rule change? ------------------------------- #27 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Saturday, 9/10/2005 22:40:48 ET Here we go! ------------------------------- #26 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Monday, 8/22/2005 16:09:21 ET Champion! What's in a label? You want mad props for going 3-0 over the final 3 games? What about going 6-8 over the previous 14? Plus, you wouldn't have gotten the chance to go 3-0 if it weren't for the gift from the Dogs. Who gives up a premium WR when the QB is on a record breaking season? That's like trading 8 baseball cards for a sticker and then giving the sticker back! Some Dogs need to be neutered. I've talked to all the other owners at our off season meetings in Maui and they all agree that the unprecedented regular season record last year was the true accomplishment. I mean the 2nd place team was a staggering 4 games back. (There's some yahoo who's won the regular season 4 times by a total of 3.5 games...that's 4 years COMBINED!) The next closest winning % was 286 basis points away. I'm not making this up, you can do the math yourself. I don't know what I can do for an encore, but I'm ready to get it on! Good Luck All! ------------------------------- #25 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Tuesday, 8/16/2005 23:26:01 ET Ah... another season... I can't believe Rumeals is the only team we lost this year. You'd think the Dr's dominance of this league would cause all of you to find greener pastures elsewhere... isn't it disheartening to be playing for 2nd place before we even draft? I have asked Mike to rename the league "The Pinecones", and here's why: Pinecones: 3 time League Champion 4 time Regular season Champion 4 tim Scoring Champion Every other team that has ever played in Lambda... never a repeat Champion in any category except scoring... way to go Killers. Good luck fellas'... you'll need it. -Z- ------------------------------- #24 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 8/14/2005 1:26:36 ET I am open for trades... ------------------------------- #23 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 1/3/2005 10:33:51 ET Good season. ------------------------------- #22 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 1/2/2005 23:40:47 ET KILLERS... YOU THERE??? THAT'S WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!!! 4 times 1st place regular season... 3 times SEASON CHAMPION!!! (Out of 6 years) 6-8 and the CHAMPION... gotta love it!!! THAT MY FRIEND IS A D-Y-N-A-S-T-Y!!! .... also... This is the ultimate Wannabe sports dominance.. this year... The Pinecones played in 4 leagues Grand Slam A Home Run C Lambda Gold Silver R ... the Pinecones won the championship in EVERY league... S..S..S..S...weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!!! ------------------------------- #21 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 1/2/2005 23:36:58 ET KILLERS... ------------------------------- #20 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Thursday, 12/23/2004 11:57:04 ET Blah, Blah, Blah... I could make excuses but I won't. I mean, I meant to play Santana, I submitted a new line-up, there must have been a mistake. I was stuck in sub-zero temperatures with no computer access, now I know how the Studs feel. I had obligations that took my focus off football. But like I said, I won't make excuses, I clearly lost to a better team? Good luck on your quest to that impressive dynasty record of 9-8! Humbled SQ ------------------------------- #19 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 12/19/2004 23:46:06 ET Ouch... not a good day to be a top seed. Guess we found out who the pretenders were. Like I said Killer, 1 man does not a dynasty make, and the rest of that squad was suspect at best. Like I also said, I'll be playing in week 16... and the REAL DYNASTY continues. Don't let the 6-8 record fool you. Grog is next and then its the irrelevant winner of the Stud/Dog game... and then Championship #3. Now lets talk about rough nights... eliminated in Skyline and Gold in the same night... ouch! -Z- ------------------------------- #18 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 12/14/2004 12:05:22 ET Pinecones, Last night was not a good night for you. I mean, you get eliminated in one league, while watching the Dogs pile on the points only to send you down to the 8th seed. SP must stand for Scott Peterson, because you just received a death sentence. Oh sure, you can look at this weeks scores and say if we had played this week how you would have won, but of course, in my mind that means nothing. My team plays down to the competition as they will certainly have to do this weekend. So, while Jake is lighting up the KC D and you're getting that warm and fuzzy feeling as your group approaches that 90 pt mark, don’t look over your shoulder because the Q-Men will be running to 220-221, whatever it takes! I just want to be the bigger man by being the 1st to apologize for knocking you out of 2 leagues in consecutive weeks. Don't forget the bright side, you have a primo draft pick next year, while I'm going to be stuck with that ugly 12th spot. SQS ------------------------------- #17 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Monday, 12/13/2004 21:54:20 ET The Dr has had alot of bad luck this season... but you all are gonna' be sorry I didn't lose 1 more game. I WANT THE KILLERS! Go Dogs! p.s. Whether it's the Bunglers or the Killers, one thing is for sure. PINECONES WILL BE PLAYING WEEK 16! ------------------------------- #16 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Tuesday, 12/7/2004 0:57:58 ET DD, where's the love? I didn't mean eek in a bad way, no...it's all good. Hey, I'm the 1st one to realize that anyone can win on any given weekend and by the looks at my luck in fantasy football, it will probably be a short postseason. You have to understand what I'm dealing with. I mean I got the Pinecones reminiscing about the past like Al Bundy daydreaming about his high school football days. I've got a season going like I’ll probably never see again and I've got smack-talking Z at my heels. Meanwhile, he can't get the Quentin Griffen tattoo removed from his ass fast enough. ------------------------------- #15 by: Desert Dogs (Chris Browner) on: Monday, 12/6/2004 11:06:29 ET SQS--Dogs eek out a win eh? You better be lookin over your shoulder rookie. First you mock me for making the Harrison trade, for McGahee. This league is about the future as well. I have had hard luck this year. After this week I will be in 9th place with the 5th or 6th most total points. If I win next week I will be the 8th seed and you I will clash in week one of the playoffs, and you will go down. Ask the mightly Dr. about losing to 8th seeds--he is all too familiar with that. Desert Dogs GM ------------------------------- #14 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 12/5/2004 12:37:28 ET One lucky Manning pick does not a dynasty make... While you are scouring the Hall of Fame records for meaningless stats, you need to look at the Dr's domination of this league once again... 6 years... 5 times the regular season champ... 2 times the Champion... 5 times the scoring champ... and this year (while my record doesn't reflect it) I am primed to take another Championship, 2nd overall in scoring and poised. THATS DOMINATION!!! ------------------------------- #13 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Sunday, 12/5/2004 12:14:00 ET For Shame Did you miss week 3 this year? When SQ annihilated the paltry 143 with a score of 149. That's a whole TD to you and me! That week Peyton only had 45 points, once again a true testament to the total team effort. How about week 10, when Manning posted 48 pts. Or last year when Manning posted 50! It's obvious you are in denial as your regular season record indicates that it might be time for a coaching change. We are teams moving in opposite directions. I mean look at the past few years for you 12-2, 11-3, 10-4, 9-5, and then this year 7-7 at best (but realistic probably 5-9). Oh sure, you won the Championship last year, but we all know that the test of time is to win the regular season as the Desert Dogs have shown that anybody can get lucky and eek out a win every now and then. ------------------------------- #12 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Saturday, 12/4/2004 18:05:06 ET You need to re-check your data... just because Mike doesn't have the info updated, the info is still the info... go check out the hall of fame records for 2000. Let me post an important one: Top 2000 Individual single week scores: Player - Kurt Warner (Payson Pinecones) 48 pts Team - PAYSON PINECONES 143 pts I don't believe you have that covered. -Z- ------------------------------- #11 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Friday, 12/3/2004 21:53:37 ET Hey SQS, Your 4-year mission is about to hit a road block. Note that I have more 100+ scores this year than you. You are going down.... PS: However, if Manning and Stokley do well, I won't be too upset. ------------------------------- #10 by: San Quinton SerialKillers (Mark Blilie) on: Friday, 12/3/2004 19:00:10 ET Someone needs a Keystone Your bitter-beer-face is getting a bit ugly. Sure the talent pool is a smidge bigger this year, but by my calculations I am the only one projected to shatter the total season points record. Plus, I've already topped the single game record - twice. As a matter of fact, only 4 teams are projected to break 1000 pts. Know we all know the only reason your #'s were so high back in 2000 is because I wasn't playing yet. When I joined back in 2001 I had a 4 year plan to not only dominate the season but to destroy your place in history. Taking a line from Dubya "Mission Accomplished!" ------------------------------- #9 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Wednesday, 12/1/2004 22:01:14 ET San Quentin... Before you go on and on about what a record setting year you're having, take a step back... remember when the Pinecones were doing it in a 14 team league. Now that Mike reduced the league size to 12, the talent pool is much larger, and scoring will inevitably be up. Those records are unbeatable. -Z- ------------------------------- #8 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Friday, 11/19/2004 0:28:21 ET I just positioning myself in the prime #7 slot. That way if everything stays as is I'll get a first round bye. ------------------------------- #7 by: Titan Studs (Tom Martineau) on: Tuesday, 11/16/2004 20:43:16 ET Good try Pinecones. The 4th highest score was good. But not quite good enough! Titans are on rolling! ------------------------------- #6 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 11/14/2004 11:54:27 ET Time for the Michael Vick Experience to unleash itself on a team better known as the "Titan Duds." ------------------------------- #5 by: Bidwell's Bunglers (Matt Savoca) on: Wednesday, 10/20/2004 13:05:50 ET You're scaring me doc. I got 100 points and 3 games on you. It looks like once again your bark is worse than your bite. ------------------------------- #4 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 10/17/2004 16:57:08 ET Bunglers.... you suck! I can't wait to get a piece of your week ass stuff. The Dr. ------------------------------- #3 by: Bidwell's Bunglers (Matt Savoca) on: Thursday, 8/5/2004 3:24:49 ET HA HA HA. Yeah, sure. And if anyone wants Kerry Collins or Billy Cundiff as FP, let me know. I only want a 3rd round pick for those guys too. HA HA HA. Nice one Z. ------------------------------- #2 by: Surprise Pinecones (Jeffrey Blilie) on: Sunday, 7/11/2004 23:54:12 ET If anyone is interested in acquiring either Dominick Davis or Matt Hasselbeck and making one of them either your FP or TP, please send me an email. I would be looking for a 3rd round Draft choice (you would also receive my last pick to make the numbers work).
