Don't lose a player you want to keep. As per the rules, IR ends with today's waivers. Players on IR after 1pm ET today are waived. ------------------------------- #323 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Sunday, 10/11/2020 16:08:27 ET In an effort to avoid some of the difficulties covid is creating, it has been decided to make waivers unlimited for the 2020 season. This is effective immediately and will be for the 2020 season only. This is an adjustment for 2020 and NOT A RULE CHANGE. ------------------------------- #322 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Thursday, 10/1/2020 10:40:27 ET Well, we knew it was just a matter of time before Covid affected the 2020 reg. season. The PIT@TEN, week 4 game has been moved to an undertermined date and will not be played in week 4. This means that for fantasy purposes BOTH TEN and PIT are on BYE in week 4. It is believed the NFL will eventually play this game in a later week. If and when any official announcement is made regarding a make-up game or other changes to the NFL schedule we will adjust our competition as necessary. ------------------------------- #321 by: T-Byrds (Kevin Byrd) on: Tuesday, 9/1/2020 19:53:39 ET Hey Commissioner Stanley when will we be able to submit line-up changes? ------------------------------- #320 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Friday, 12/1/2017 13:16:52 ET **LAST CHANCE** IR ENDS with the week 13 line-up deadline. Looking forward to having everyone back for the 2014 season. Changes to rules/procedures are being considered for 2014. Watch your inbox for updates! ------------------------------- #312 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Tuesday, 12/17/2013 3:14:26 ET WOW!!! How bad can one person screw up?? Pretty bad. Take the perceived procedural error just announced for example. There was NO ERROR!! The rules DID change and all those waivers removed were 'legal' meaning there never should have been a 'correcttion'. Pretty bad, huh? So, now the correction has been corrected and everything should be back to where it was before the genius stepped in and made such a mess. If you should find there is still any problem with your roster or line-ups, please notify WANNABE Sports at your earliest convenience. ------------------------------- #311 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Monday, 12/16/2013 10:19:22 ET A procedural error has just been brought to the attention of WANNABE Spoorts. Immediate actions have been taken to comply with the rules as best possible. No more than one waiver is allowed per team in the post-season (weeks 13-16). The system did not limit teams to one as it should have. Therefore, all "illegal" waivers have been reversed and rosters/line-ups have changed accordingly. If anyone wishes to take issue with the error or the correction, your comments are welcome. ------------------------------- #310 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Friday, 7/12/2013 13:27:46 ET Looking for trades before the draft make offers ------------------------------- #309 by: ThroatSlasherz (Dwayne Harris) on: Sunday, 12/30/2012 18:30:38 ET Congrats to the Birdcatcher Ticks on winning this year's championship! ------------------------------- #308 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Tuesday, 11/27/2012 08:41:22 ET **--IR ENDS THIS WEEK(WK13)--** Please be sure to review your roster and remove any player(s) currently on IR. Players remaining on IR after the week 13 waiver deadline (1pm ET Sunday) will be removed from your roster. Also note, your starters in the Thursday night game can not be waived after their game starts until the week changes to 14 at 1pm ET on Sunday. Don't let this slip by or players you wish to keep could be removed from your roster. I'm just glad I didn't have to play you or the B-Sharps in the playoffs, because I can't figure out a way to defeat either one of you! Good luck next season and let's keep this league competitive. ------------------------------- #283 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 12/29/2008 20:55:58 ET congrats thunderlizards !! ------------------------------- #282 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Saturday, 10/25/2008 16:33:30 ET Steve, Now why is it that I have to play you in not one, but both leagues? I'm hoping that you will obtain your first loss this week. Probably not going to happen, but I'm gunning for you. ------------------------------- #281 by: The B-Sharps (Robert Green) on: Wednesday, 9/3/2008 7:32:19 ET Hey B sharp: How about a father and son champianship again, U in the kitty league, and I in the big boy league. I won`t have no trouble for a three-peat, I hope you can handle a repeat. I`ll win for New England, U can win for Missou. First time you will see this post script. In this League Love U Dad ------------------------------- #280 by: The B-Sharps (Robert Green) on: Saturday, 8/30/2008 1:13:24 ET I think the KC Chiefs have a better chance winning in week 1 then you. ------------------------------- #279 by: Peoria Predators (The Boss) on: Thursday, 8/28/2008 7:59:39 ET I can't wait to beat the champ first week! ------------------------------- #278 by: Peoria Predators (The Boss) on: Saturday, 8/23/2008 20:42:58 ET I need a QB, willing to deal ------------------------------- #277 by: Peoria Predators (The Boss) on: Friday, 8/22/2008 21:10:46 ET Can't wait for draft tomorrow, cya there! ------------------------------- #276 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Wednesday, 8/13/2008 14:57:09 ET 8-15-08 is the deadline for trades and saved players. I'm open to offers... but be quick!!! ------------------------------- #275 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 7/12/2008 13:07:22 ET I just wanted to let everyone here know that I've decided not to renew my team for the upcoming season. I don't feel that I would want to take the time that is necessary to run a good team. I really had a blast these last four years in the Omicron league. I enjoyed the back and forth we had, as well as the great competition. Good luck to everyone. ------------------------------- #274 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Wednesday, 1/2/2008 9:43:02 ET Congrats B-Sharps!! I know that because this league is so competitive, everyone will be gunning for you next season. Let's see if you actually can back up that talk and win back to back. Thanks to all for a great league. I have always enjoyed playing in this league and with the great competition, that is still the case. On a final note, you can tell the elder that I GUARANTEE there will be no 3 peat. I lost to him fair and square in the championship, and I give him props for that, but next year will be different. Congrats to you both!!! ------------------------------- #273 by: The B-Sharps (Robert Green) on: Monday, 12/31/2007 10:26:40 ET Good Season. I know a few of you guys who always have quality teams missed the draft that put you behind the 8 ball right from the start. This is a good league since most teams are active and it makes it challenging to win. Lets hope we all can make the draft next year and everyone is on a level playing field from the start. That way it will feel a little more rewarding when I go back-to-back next year. To those who play in the Epsilon League with Circus Face (previous message) that team is run by the elder Green. So they lost to the equivalent of GM Marv Levy for 2 straight years. Unlike Levy I am sure he will be back to win his 3rd in a row next year. ------------------------------- #272 by: The B-Sharps (Robert Green) on: Monday, 12/31/2007 9:27:08 ET congrats B Sharps,, could u beat Circus faces? ------------------------------- #271 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 12/27/2007 19:58:46 ET Congrats B-Sharps and Birdcatcher Ticks. ------------------------------- #270 by: Peoria Predators (The Boss) on: Sunday, 12/16/2007 19:33:28 ET Once season is over I would trade Randy Moss (19 tds so far) for a 3rd round pick...He is savable for 2 years, as i got him after the 2nd round ------------------------------- #269 by: The B-Sharps (Robert Green) on: Tuesday, 12/11/2007 14:52:20 ET No benefit winning the division and getting the #1 seed in this league. I have to play a team that destroyed me two weeks ago. The trend may continue in this league with the division champ losing early in the playoffs. good luck everyone ------------------------------- #268 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 12/9/2007 19:28:55 ET Barring some craziness I'll be sneaking in with you. Well, I've lost first round games after awesome regular seasons so maybe this year I'll go far in the playoffs after a sub-par performance. Like the Fireflies said, good luck to all. ------------------------------- #267 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 12/9/2007 19:24:41 ET A close race to for the last playoff spot, hopefully I can keep on winning and make a run good luck to all ------------------------------- #266 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Tuesday, 11/27/2007 8:49:32 ET RIP Sean Taylor! The Redskins fans will miss you on the field on Sundays. ------------------------------- #265 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Friday, 11/23/2007 0:33:52 ET Looking for a QB. Send me trade requests. ------------------------------- #264 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 11/18/2007 17:02:49 ET Looking to trade peyton manning ------------------------------- #263 by: Peoria Predators (The Boss) on: Thursday, 11/1/2007 21:41:02 ET I will trade Randy Moss for Starting RB, That is capable of having TP tag ------------------------------- #262 by: The B-Sharps (Robert Green) on: Tuesday, 10/30/2007 15:42:39 ET The one thing my team has is a lot of depth which served me well during the bye weeks; however, Powersurge is the defending champ and beat me already this year. And oh yeah he has Tom Brady. Once the bye weeks end the depth advantage I have will no longer be valid. Probably the only reason I have 1/4 of my team is since I started out so slow and was able to win the pickup tie breakers. Once the playoffs begin its anyones to win. ------------------------------- #261 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Tuesday, 10/30/2007 13:51:41 ET I would have to agree with you that overall I think the B-Sharps has the best team. I won't say that they are playing like the best, because if the players on that team would consistently perform, then I don't think anyone could touch them. No disrespect to you Powersurge, because you have a good team, but the overall best team I feel is the B-Sharps. Good luck to everyone the rest of the season and lets see what happens. We are all one injury away from making or breaking the season. ------------------------------- #260 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 10/30/2007 13:21:57 ET A lot of parity this year. Seems to me that the B-sharps are the class of the league, they've just had a little trouble getting over the hump in the win column. But man do they put up the points. ------------------------------- #259 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Thursday, 10/25/2007 8:43:56 ET I had heard various rumors on him at the time of pickup. Now that he is declared officially out for the year, I will be dropping him. ------------------------------- #258 by: Peoria Predators (The Boss) on: Wednesday, 10/24/2007 0:19:12 ET u know that ronnie brown was a 1st rd pick and can't be kept right? ------------------------------- #257 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 10/16/2007 17:20:37 ET Wow, who would have known my team MVP at this point in the season would be Derek Anderson. ------------------------------- #256 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Sunday, 10/14/2007 10:16:30 ET Thanks! Yeah, the LJ and Gore combo has killed me in other leagues i'm in, so I totally feel your pain there. Hopefully my team has decided to start playing, but we will see after this very difficult week. Good luck to you today. ------------------------------- #255 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 10/10/2007 20:26:02 ET Good game, Thunder Lizards. I got my ass handed to me. Man has the LJ and Frank Gore tandem been a letdown. ------------------------------- #254 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 10/7/2007 16:10:17 ET No harm,no foul. My backup didn't score either. ------------------------------- #253 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 10/7/2007 13:53:07 ET Crap, I can't believe I forgot to bench my kicker for the bye week. I benched Johnson for Cincy but overlooked Graham. Crap. ------------------------------- #252 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 10/6/2007 20:47:46 ET Good luck to you too. I'm a Panthers fan, so I'll be rooting for Carr tommorrow too; (I just hope Favre does a little better in his game.) ------------------------------- #251 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Saturday, 10/6/2007 10:45:10 ET Robert(Digital Fur) good luck this week because I'm going to need it. With a starting QB in Carr. I am hoping to finally defeat you this season. We always have great games, so good luck to you. ------------------------------- #250 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 10/3/2007 21:27:55 ET Tugboats, going for the big payoff with Williams there, eh? ------------------------------- #249 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Sunday, 9/30/2007 15:15:36 ET Thanks Robert. Yeah, my team finally decided to step up and play football. Unfortunately, it was only one week. Hopefully they will play the rest of the season, but i'm not banking on that one. LJ has a bad line in front of him, and a coach that isn't using him effectively. Time will heal that coach and player relationship. Good luck the rest of the season. ------------------------------- #248 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 9/26/2007 16:36:30 ET I had somewhat of a similar problem Steve, but luckily I still had enough points to pull off the win. What is wrong with LJ, though? Got to get more points out of him as the year rolls along. Nice week, Thunder lizards. ------------------------------- #247 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 9/24/2007 22:22:49 ET ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH! My Starters scored 53 points and my Bench players scored 108!!! ------------------------------- #246 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Friday, 9/21/2007 19:51:11 ET That's more of what I wanted. Hell of a week there throatslasherz. As for me I should have started Galloway. Oh well. ------------------------------- #245 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 9/16/2007 7:40:45 ET Looking to trade a QB for a running back ------------------------------- #244 by: Peoria Predators (The Boss) on: Thursday, 9/6/2007 23:46:10 ET Drew Brees.. 3 pts...wow ------------------------------- #243 by: Peoria Predators (The Boss) on: Monday, 8/27/2007 12:59:50 ET powersurge-- commish said the trade was too one sided, check my counter offer ------------------------------- #242 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 8/26/2007 20:52:05 ET Thanks David. Actually, I ended up fairly pleased with my picks. I did a little adjusting of the computer's list before I left and a number of the guys I wanted fell my way. Hopefully next year this league's draft will be moved to Sunday. ------------------------------- #241 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Sunday, 8/26/2007 11:36:02 ET Rob (Digital Fur) I totally understand where you are coming from. I was able to draft for one of my leagues, but the other two, this one and one other league, I was unable to draft for. This league is definitely a WIP (work in process)team. I will be looking to make changes to it. Good luck this season and i'm sure we will be talking a lot this year. ------------------------------- #240 by: Peoria Predators (The Boss) on: Friday, 8/24/2007 14:08:53 ET I wish my keepers were johnson/gore, but my addai/henry tandom should be decent (exept they both have bye wk 6). I am looking forward to dominating this draft, I will be the Omicron CHAMP! ------------------------------- #239 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 8/22/2007 22:13:19 ET Draft day coming up soon. I'm a little frustrated here because I think this is the first ever draft I'm going to miss. Good friend getting married and all, not much I can do to get out of it. I wish WANNABE put all the drafts on Sundays. Oh well. Still, I think with my Larry Johnson/Frank Gore tandem the Fur will be tough to beat. Any comments on the upcoming season anyone? Let's get the witty banter started. ------------------------------- #238 by: Wings and Beer (Rich Sloan) on: Wednesday, 8/1/2007 10:50:27 ET I will trade C.Benson or D.Mcallister for 4th or 5th Rd. pick ------------------------------- #237 by: Wings and Beer (Rich Sloan) on: Wednesday, 8/1/2007 10:48:43 ET Looking forward to the upcoming season...I like to trade for those of you interested. ------------------------------- #236 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 7/26/2007 9:54:23 ET Jones-Drew is gone. Good luck to everyone during the upcoming season. ------------------------------- #235 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Friday, 7/20/2007 14:00:48 ET If anyone is interested in trading for and then saving Maurice Jones-Drew I will trade him for the highest offered draft pick. ------------------------------- #234 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 6/25/2007 17:50:02 ET Nick, if you're interested in Frank Gore let me know. I'll let him go for the right draft pick (he's eligible to be saved.) ------------------------------- #233 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Monday, 6/11/2007 22:04:53 ET Anyone wanna talk trade? ------------------------------- #232 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 4/22/2007 21:34:16 ET Good message, and I agree, what makes this league great is the participation and the fact that the owners do the minimum in keeping their teams up-to- date. On that note, I'll either be offering Frank Gore or Maurice Jones-Drew for draft picks before the draft, so if you're interested, let me know. ------------------------------- #231 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Monday, 4/2/2007 15:03:39 ET Okay let me just say that I took some much needed time off from fantasy football. Unfortunately there are still two more weeks until tax season is over, so I will no be here after today again until at least April 17th. I do want to say that this league is by far the best league that I play in, and that is because most of the owners are active. This doesn't mean 24/7 online but just doing the normal weekly changes that need to be made. I have greatly enjoyed this league, and I hope that Kirk will stay along with the rest of you. If not then hopefully we get someone that will become a good regular here. Anyway, best of luck to you all during this upcoming season. I for one have to reclaim my spot, because I am tired of playing .500 ball. See you guys soon and I'm open for trades if anyone is wanting to. Will check in after April 17th. ------------------------------- #230 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Thursday, 1/4/2007 17:27:21 ET I'd really just like to third that motion of Kirk staying...even though I slacked horribly this year I still feel like we are losing an owner that cares and tries...if you still decide to leave you will be missed ------------------------------- #229 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 1/3/2007 20:35:56 ET Yeah, I'll second Kikbooties' statement. Hate to see you go. I'd love to get twelve diehards in here that put time into their team on a yearly basis. Don't get me wrong, it's not about being obsessed with your team, but just doing the small things like making lineup changes and dropping non-productive players. On that note, good luck Kirk, and I hope you reconsider. ------------------------------- #228 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 1/2/2007 21:08:56 ET We will hate to see you go Kirk! I hope you reconsider and stay, either way congrats on a great season and near Win! I have been playing for 4 years and never made it to the finals. ------------------------------- #227 by: Wings and Beer (Kirk Slocum) on: Tuesday, 1/2/2007 12:56:51 ET Well I tried but nobody showed up, but not bad for a 6-8 team. Best to Powersurge for a great year and best to everyone else. This is also my last year in this league, so Wings & Beer is being turned back to the league for someone else to get it a try. Best Wishes Kirk Slocum Wings & Beer ------------------------------- #226 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Friday, 12/29/2006 10:09:14 ET Pulling for the W + B. Should have been me vs. the Kikbooties though. Damn you Larry Johnson. ------------------------------- #225 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Thursday, 12/28/2006 17:37:48 ET Wings and Beer and Powersurge in the Finals ------------------------------- #224 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 12/25/2006 20:42:05 ET well looks like i'm out! ------------------------------- #223 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 12/24/2006 20:01:53 ET It's been a great year merry christmas to all and have a Happy New Year. Yes I will be back with a much improved team next year heading for the championship ------------------------------- #222 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 12/18/2006 14:54:34 ET And...I'm out. Oh well. I had a bad feeling about the playoffs all along. And my big guns didn't show up on Sunday. Congrats to the rest, good luck kikbooties, i hope you take it. As for me, I'll be putting up one of my super two young running backs (Gore or Jones-Drew) for trade offers before next year's draft. ------------------------------- #221 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Friday, 12/15/2006 22:37:15 ET I know it's a little early but anyone want any of my guys for a 2-4th round pick....The only player I feel worthy of tagging is Vince Young....but even he's tradeable.....damn I had a horrible year ------------------------------- #220 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Thursday, 12/14/2006 22:11:22 ET Teams with the least amount of injuries are the ones who win. I have had teams I though were awesome and a couple of injuries later I could hardly win a game. So far I have been lucky I just hope it continues! Good luck to all in the playoffs! ------------------------------- #219 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 12/14/2006 17:06:49 ET Thanks David, I really wanted to win the regular season title because I think it'll be difficult for me to win the playoffs without McNabb. I wouldn't be surprised if an upstart from seeds 5-8 win the whole thing, although I'd call the Kikbooties the favorite right now. ------------------------------- #218 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Wednesday, 12/13/2006 15:53:57 ET Nice job Robert, My team played the same as all season, it didn't show up. I do hope you or Steve take the title because you two both have great teams, and I would love to see you two battle for title. Good luck to you both and maybe I can surprise in playoffs. NOT!!!! ------------------------------- #217 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 12/11/2006 21:43:21 ET Wow was I lucky. But I'll take it. Kudos to you, kikbooties, I know how much it sucks to score the most points in a season and finish in second. I've been there. But hey - karma was on my side this time I guess. ------------------------------- #216 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 12/11/2006 21:39:15 ET ohhh well second place isnt that bad... ------------------------------- #215 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 12/11/2006 20:41:29 ET prediction for tonight: S.Jackson 5 pts Chicago defense 22 pts 1st place Igwanakikbooties! ------------------------------- #214 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 12/11/2006 15:55:31 ET Crap. I didn't think you would cover the points. Let's go Jackson! ------------------------------- #213 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Sunday, 12/10/2006 23:57:41 ET What a crazy finish!! ------------------------------- #212 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 12/10/2006 19:49:49 ET One Stephen Jackson touchdown tomorrow would ice it for me. Or kikbooties, you can do good, just not too good. ------------------------------- #211 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 12/10/2006 16:31:56 ET Hopefully the scores stay like they are for my team tehn I can sneak into the playoffs and maybe make a run at the championship. LOL ------------------------------- #210 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 12/10/2006 13:45:09 ET Hey Kikbooties, gonna be a crazy day, huh? If it's not me I hope it's you who wins out, but hopefully all three of us will win and I'll outscore you by 19 or more. Good luck. ------------------------------- #209 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Sunday, 12/10/2006 13:20:47 ET What good luck for me I just noticed that my opponents QB is out for this week. Now all I have to do is hope LT has a bad week! ------------------------------- #208 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Friday, 12/8/2006 17:11:06 ET Well my little egg broke halfway through week one and I gave up....not one of my gambles payed off...I might have been able to do something in free agency but honestly I didn't care...I will be back next year playing it safe come draft day...I apologize to everyone in the league for not even trying this year... ------------------------------- #207 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Friday, 12/8/2006 16:29:45 ET I'm thirty one back in overall points so hypothetically I could catch you if I had a big week. Being ahead in overall points and not finishing first sucks. Two years ago I scored the most points in league history and lost my head to head matchup to finish in second place. Good luck this weekend kikbooties. I'm fine if you win as long as the Surge loses. ------------------------------- #206 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Thursday, 12/7/2006 23:22:50 ET What sucks is Im in first place, as long as there is a 3 way tie. Since there is a 3 way tie head to head tiebreaker doesnt count and it goes to overall points. Since I lost to the two other teams I am tied with they would win a tiebreaker against me. So... Im rooting for both teams to lose and if they dont, then, for all 3 of us to win. ------------------------------- #205 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Thursday, 12/7/2006 6:35:50 ET I just want a win what a horrible year ------------------------------- #204 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 12/6/2006 21:25:32 ET Man I want to win the regular season title so bad. I need a win and a Powersurge loss. Go ticks! ------------------------------- #203 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Tuesday, 11/28/2006 22:12:51 ET That really sucks. I was on a cruise for the past week and missed the trade deadline. Oh well, I will now have to try to figure out how to make a run in the playoffs without two running backs in Clinton Portis and possibly Ronnie Brown. Wow this is going to suck. Oh well, the cruise was fun at least. lol ------------------------------- #202 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/28/2006 20:55:14 ET Wow, that's a shame. I misread the trade deadline by a week. Would have a been good trade for both of us. I have three RBs ahead of Alexander (amazing, I know,) and you could have shored up your RB situation behind Brees and complementing Owens. Oh well. ------------------------------- #201 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 11/28/2006 20:31:51 ET I just relized its to late for trades, sorry, it wont let me even enter one. ------------------------------- #200 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/28/2006 20:23:15 ET Matt Leinart, Terry Glenn and your worst RB for Alexander, Keyshawn Johnson and my worst QB. (worst RB and QB to even out the roster position swap.) ------------------------------- #199 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 11/28/2006 19:23:01 ET Ill give you matt leinart or trent green for sean alexander ------------------------------- #198 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/28/2006 18:55:46 ET Shaun Alexander is on the block for the best offered QB. ------------------------------- #197 by: Wings and Beer (Kirk Slocum) on: Tuesday, 11/28/2006 6:57:16 ET Anyone but Addai is available, but want draft picks for next year! ------------------------------- #196 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Tuesday, 11/28/2006 6:24:25 ET Make an offer need to make my run for the playoffs ------------------------------- #195 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 11/27/2006 22:54:27 ET I'll start making some offers tommorrow. ------------------------------- #194 by: Wings and Beer (Kirk Slocum) on: Monday, 11/27/2006 7:08:12 ET I am make me an offer ------------------------------- #193 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 11/26/2006 22:30:16 ET Trade deadline this week? Anybody tired of their QB? ------------------------------- #192 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 11/23/2006 23:33:51 ET Yeah, but I'm really deep at RB. Don't know if it'll be enough with McNabb, but I still like my chances. ------------------------------- #191 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Thursday, 11/23/2006 11:34:35 ET thats going to be an ouch! ------------------------------- #190 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 11/22/2006 10:32:56 ET Wow. No More McNabb. ------------------------------- #189 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Thursday, 11/16/2006 11:29:47 ET The OFFICIAL NFL scoring for week 10 has changed. The NFL has changed the status of the touchdown scored by PHI in the second quarter of the WAS@PHI game. Originally scored as a fumble recovery for TD, it is now officially a reception for TD. As this change was made official by the NFL within the challenge period provided by the Gold League rules, scoring for this league has been updated accordingly. Please direct any questions to the Commissioner via email or the online contact form. Thank you. ------------------------------- #188 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 11/15/2006 19:28:15 ET I'm back at full strength, baby! A few late season predictions - Powersurge won't make another transaction the rest of the year as the owner is no longer involved in the league, the thunder lizards and kikbooties will come on strong, blue-eyed monkees will pipe up once or twice more as they make a late season run at the playoffs only to fall short. ------------------------------- #187 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 11/12/2006 10:03:26 ET Let's go Thunder Lizards! Knock the Powersurge off their two transactions a year perch. ------------------------------- #186 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/7/2006 13:35:47 ET Ah, the Fur takes a hit! Come on Alexander and Fitzgerald, get off the IR. ------------------------------- #185 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Wednesday, 11/1/2006 21:53:33 ET yay a win...man you go away for a few weeks and your team collapses...oh well I'll try harder ------------------------------- #184 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 10/30/2006 21:31:31 ET Sad part about it was the loss was all my fault, because I had Drew Brews and Julius Jones starting, then at the last minute I decided to switch them up. so... if I just would of kept it the way it was I would of won 81-51. Ohh well, good game, but I still hate Reggie Wayne ------------------------------- #183 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Monday, 10/30/2006 18:13:51 ET Steve, why the hate toward Reggie Wayne? I mean he only helped me win a very poorly played game by the rest of my team. Thanks for not playing Drew Brees. Good luck the rest of the way. ------------------------------- #182 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 10/30/2006 17:14:18 ET Reggie Wayne, You killed me!! ------------------------------- #181 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Monday, 10/30/2006 11:09:53 ET Wow, Reggie Wayne saved me this week. I somehow pulled out a very lucky win. ------------------------------- #180 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Wednesday, 10/25/2006 13:21:42 ET Look forward to all the challenges again. I thought my team was decent, but had a very bad start and now, minus this past week, hopefully they will play to potential. I am looking forward to the rematch. Hope we are both healthy then. ------------------------------- #179 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 10/24/2006 20:53:10 ET Ah, sounds like the Thunder Lizards of old. I look forward to it. ------------------------------- #178 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Tuesday, 10/24/2006 19:48:03 ET Robert, let me just say that I have you the final week of the season, and I plan to take revenge on you. I see that you aren't afraid of me this year, so let's just see what happens. ------------------------------- #177 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 10/24/2006 18:37:40 ET Big picture. I want to win the title. Play you or not, overall record is still up in the air. ------------------------------- #176 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 10/24/2006 16:56:58 ET How can you be scared of me? You already beat me and I dont play you anymore times this season. ------------------------------- #175 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 10/24/2006 16:02:43 ET 6-1 but struggling to stay ahead of injuries. The kikbooties scare me, as do the transaction crazy Tugboats. Hey Nick, why no posts lately? I kept on posting last year when I was in the cellar, big guy, so let's hear from you. ------------------------------- #174 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 10/17/2006 0:19:11 ET If it makes you feel any better you would of lost even putting your starters in... ------------------------------- #173 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Monday, 10/16/2006 21:44:50 ET Stupid little wheel on the mouse I guess I'm so pissed at myself ------------------------------- #172 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Sunday, 10/15/2006 23:48:00 ET Thank you very much firefly's I appreciate you starting two guy's on thier bye weeks! I just wish all teams would do that when they play me. ------------------------------- #171 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 10/15/2006 16:03:27 ET Did I miss up this week Started 2 guys on bye week toal brain dump. Call me a idiot because I deserve it ------------------------------- #170 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 10/15/2006 11:13:07 ET Feel free to hate the Fur, but take it easy on McNabb now. ------------------------------- #169 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 10/15/2006 8:26:07 ET Hope McNabb goes done with injury ------------------------------- #168 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Friday, 10/13/2006 18:34:50 ET Not when your 5-0, no sympathy for ya at all... ------------------------------- #167 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Friday, 10/13/2006 16:58:25 ET Not much sympathy, eh? ------------------------------- #166 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Wednesday, 10/11/2006 21:09:01 ET Sinking faster then the titanic ------------------------------- #165 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 10/10/2006 17:01:04 ET First Alexander, now Fitzgerald. Crap. ------------------------------- #164 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 10/8/2006 10:19:56 ET Perhaps, but consider this. I lost Shaun Alexander but still have Larry Johnson and Donovan McNabbb in my lineup. Anything can happen, but I know I wouldn't want to play me. Good luck Monkeys - Fireflies you already had your chance. :) ------------------------------- #163 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 10/8/2006 7:12:06 ET Who would have thought good luck all this week because Digital is about to fall. ------------------------------- #162 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Saturday, 10/7/2006 14:07:55 ET Who would have thought there would come a time where Randy Moss doesn't make a starting position on a fantasy football team. ------------------------------- #161 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 10/3/2006 7:39:44 ET Wow, man did McNabb save my but. Good game Kikbooties, you've got an awesome team. ------------------------------- #160 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 10/3/2006 0:30:53 ET I guess a 34 point lead just wasnt enough... ------------------------------- #159 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 9/27/2006 16:57:52 ET Yeah, I overreacted a bit. Over and done with, though. Good luck David. ------------------------------- #158 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Tuesday, 9/26/2006 23:30:32 ET Robert, It's okay that you didn't know he was injured. It isn't a major injury anyway, so don't worry about it. Most of us in this league have been here for some time, so quit trying to justify everything and just move on. it's over with so don't stress about it. By the way, congrats on the win. I made a change at the last minute that killed me but oh well. Maybe I will get to see you in the playoffs. ------------------------------- #157 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 9/26/2006 16:13:22 ET Gore's gonna be back next week anyway. A top 25 RB is worth a top 7 receiver, as all FF mags will tell you. ------------------------------- #156 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 9/25/2006 18:06:27 ET I did not know that Gore had been hurt. I only saw the boxscore, didn't read the injury report. (I was out of town all weekend and got home last night and all I did was check my score and post that offer - I didn't know that Gore or Alexander had been hurt until today). However, now that both are hurt I can't afford to trade any RB's anyway, so forget it. Seeing as how I have three years of good standing and good trade offers in this league, I'll stand on my reputation of not trying to trade injured players. ------------------------------- #155 by: Ty Green's Machine (Robert Green) on: Monday, 9/25/2006 14:23:59 ET It's kind of like offering a trade of Hines Ward for Steve Smith??? ------------------------------- #154 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 9/25/2006 1:33:42 ET WOW! you are willing to trade a Gore who was hurt today and Jones-Drew a kickreturner! ------------------------------- #153 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 9/24/2006 21:44:13 ET For those interested in trading FOR a RB, I'm willing to trade Frank Gore or Maurice Jones-Drew for the right price. I'm most interested in a top flight receiver. Good RB's are tough to come by, so email if interested. ------------------------------- #152 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Thursday, 9/21/2006 23:45:56 ET that's funny the Amber Alert is my ringtone.....that just cracked me the hell up....that's all ------------------------------- #151 by: Ty Green's Machine (Robert Green) on: Thursday, 9/21/2006 14:29:04 ET We can call off the AMBER ALERT since I am still here. Based on the way the first two weeks went if I was missing the team may have performed better. I am going to do what Roy Williams could not and thats gty a win this week and actually win. You guys can already put Ty Green's Machine up there with the Cowboys of 93 and the Pats of 01. ------------------------------- #150 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Thursday, 9/21/2006 10:52:10 ET well it looks like it's another year and a new owner but the Green Machine is already going unmanaged....either that or they just don't answer trade offers ------------------------------- #149 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Tuesday, 9/19/2006 20:46:22 ET Well I see my team bounced back with a big win this week and I see the streak not ending anytime soon. If you would like to get rid of a running back I am open for a trade. ------------------------------- #148 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 9/19/2006 16:36:43 ET I'll be ready. or should I say Sean Alexander and LJ will be. (i hope) ------------------------------- #147 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 9/18/2006 23:44:11 ET I like my team to win ! Digital Fur I will see you in week 4! ------------------------------- #146 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Monday, 9/18/2006 20:44:03 ET yeah if everyone on your team keeps it up my money would be on the Fur to win it all ------------------------------- #145 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 9/18/2006 17:19:16 ET Feeling good, feeling good. Trying not to get too excited though, because, as everyone in Fantasy football knows, things can change in a week. I do like patting myself on the back for the Frank Gore pick, however. Hey new guys, pipe up will ya? Speak some, let us know whose buts were kicking all over the place. ------------------------------- #144 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Thursday, 9/14/2006 10:41:38 ET For Sale : Randy Moss make offer ------------------------------- #143 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 9/13/2006 21:58:29 ET Fireflies - Brandon Jacobs and Rudi Johnson didn't fare too badly for you this last weekend. But, as you say, running backs are at a premium. ------------------------------- #142 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Tuesday, 9/12/2006 8:07:11 ET Going on the family vacation during the draft killed me since I got no running backs and nobody will trade. But I will hang in there and get you in the next match up or better yet in the playoffs, it's only a matter of time before a running back gets hurt and I will be there to pick him up. ------------------------------- #141 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Monday, 9/11/2006 18:49:00 ET To The Fireflys, Good call picking Stallworth....man he had a hell of a game...other than that, maybe you should have saved some of that luck you were wishing me. You might have won this week if you had used it on yourself ------------------------------- #140 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Saturday, 9/9/2006 1:42:41 ET thank you thank you I'll be here all season...unlike some ------------------------------- #139 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Friday, 9/8/2006 17:32:45 ET The faberge egg reference is awesome! That's trash talking at its finest. ------------------------------- #138 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Friday, 9/8/2006 11:57:18 ET Good come back Good Luck this Year you will need it ------------------------------- #137 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Friday, 9/8/2006 10:48:56 ET i'd say it's more like a faberge egg...it might be a little fragile...but it's also damn pretty and near perfection ------------------------------- #136 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Thursday, 9/7/2006 22:07:28 ET Team is built like a wet paper bag just waiting to break ------------------------------- #135 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 9/7/2006 16:23:52 ET Trash talking Nick and the One-eyed monkeys. You gotta love it. But building your franchise on a return man? We'll see how that one turns out. ------------------------------- #134 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Wednesday, 9/6/2006 15:36:56 ET Dante Hall is my key to winning this year...stat wise he was the 5th best reciever in the league on returns alone.....you guys are going down faster than Fred Taylor ------------------------------- #133 by: Texas Tugboats (Ken Elliott) on: Tuesday, 9/5/2006 18:55:04 ET Looking for trade for RB ------------------------------- #132 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Friday, 9/1/2006 9:20:51 ET Looking to trade for running back ------------------------------- #131 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 8/30/2006 16:11:00 ET David, I'm sure your team will be right up there at the end. You usually make a number of good moves during the season to put yourself in contention. As for me, I'm excited about my prospects this year but worried about injuries. That's what felled me last season. Anyway, off we go. ------------------------------- #130 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Wednesday, 8/30/2006 13:04:54 ET Looking to trade for a running back lets make a trade ------------------------------- #129 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Tuesday, 8/29/2006 16:03:18 ET yay I got Dante Hall back...reassembling last years blue monkeys one trade at a time... ------------------------------- #128 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Monday, 8/28/2006 21:19:32 ET Robert, I would feel much better about my team if I could see a healthy Portis and the Redskins actually put up some points instead of forgetting how to play football. Oh well, maybe Culpepper will regain his old form and put up enough points to cover them both. My team could be okay, but it could be like last year and only all come together four games. ------------------------------- #127 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 8/27/2006 16:57:14 ET I don't know Nick, McGahee, Burris and Moss is a pretty solid core to build around. If two out of three of those guys produce every week you'll put up some really solid scores. ------------------------------- #126 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Sunday, 8/27/2006 16:53:46 ET i think my team is about half the same as last year...minus the two stud RBs... I had a bad draft...nobodys fault but my own...I thought I was doing good during the draft and then after I looked at the team as a whole and wondered what the hell I was doing...should make for an interesting/heartbreaking season ------------------------------- #125 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 8/27/2006 10:46:11 ET Draft thoughts, anyone? ------------------------------- #124 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 8/19/2006 13:25:58 ET Yeah man, that was terrible. And what's amazing is that there are so many intelligent owners in this league and yet a ghost-coached team won. So much of that has to do with the playoff format; anyone can get lucky and win three games in a row if your opponents have off-weeks. For example, my first year in the league my team wasn't even that good but I made it to the Championship and lost by a field goal. The next year I had (in my humble opinion) the best team in the league by far, dominated the points total, yet finished second overall in the season and got knocked out the first round of the playoffs. That's what make it interesting though, if you stay in it, you can win it. ------------------------------- #123 by: Ty Green's Machine (Robert Green) on: Thursday, 8/17/2006 21:51:10 ET This league is great. The trash talking starts early. I figure all you guys returning would be embarrassed to say anything since a Ghost Coached Team won the entire thing last year. If someone not even playing can beat everyone then I will have the division won by week 9. In all seriousness though, I am glad I joined the league since everyone seems to be active and involved. Nothing worse then being in a league that does have a few ghost teams or unknowledgeable owners and this league seems to have neither of those. ------------------------------- #122 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Thursday, 8/17/2006 16:11:05 ET Man I feel like a moron going for the championship last year by trading away a franchise player that would have more than likely been the number 1 pick for years to come...anywho I'm back and after blood this year..and yes I am starting the trash talking before the draft this year...oh yeah and newbies...make sure you don't take anything I say seriously...the end ------------------------------- #121 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 8/7/2006 16:29:55 ET I hope to a trophy also ! I have 3 Grandslam baseball trophys on my mantle and I am looking forward to add a Gold football trophy! Good Luck to all ! ------------------------------- #120 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Saturday, 8/5/2006 7:01:11 ET Yes all this is a very good team but hopefully I can get over the top this year and get teh big championship trophy good luck to all of you and will any of you be on ventrilo during the draft this year. ------------------------------- #119 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Tuesday, 8/1/2006 18:36:10 ET Well said Robert. I second what he said in that we have started a very successful league where the owners participate, so hopefully we can keep it going. I have to say that I am looking forward to the draft as well, because it is going to be nice to have three very good starting running backs. Hopefully the second pick goes as planned and I am able to grab my pick. Hope everyone had a great year and I look forward to a wonderful season. Digital, you are going down!!!!!! Hopefully???? lol ------------------------------- #118 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Friday, 7/28/2006 15:04:15 ET Hello all and welcome to Omicron for the new guys. I just wanted to let all the new owners know that we've established a good, social league here, so feel free to add your own comments to the board whenever you want, talk a little trash, so on and so forth. As for me, draft date's getting close, and I'm itching to pair Larry Johnson with another top notch back! I recommend to the new guys to check out the league hall of fame to get a taste of what you're getting yourself into. ------------------------------- #117 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Saturday, 7/22/2006 12:36:57 ET Dominic Rhodes or Carnell Williams for 3rd or 4th ------------------------------- #116 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 7/10/2006 20:20:30 ET Ill trade someone my 3rd and 5th round pick for a 1st and 7th round pick. Steve Igwanakikbooties ------------------------------- #115 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 7/2/2006 11:47:13 ET Yes thank god footbal is almost here. Currently have a team in Beta looking forward to a competive year and better then last year. ------------------------------- #114 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Friday, 6/30/2006 15:50:07 ET I know I would love to see the Panthers win the Super Bowl. I have to say that I was real pleased with the Bobcats draft pick of Morrison as well. I think he will be the face of the franchise before long, and according to reports I have heard, season ticket sales are going great. Anyway, this league should be a great one this year. Are you in any other Gold leagues? If not then you should. Maybe join Gold Alpha, Delta, or Epsilon, because we always have battles between us and I am in those three leagues as well. Good luck to you and your team this season, I know I hope to play you when at least one of them happens to be on a bye. lol ------------------------------- #113 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 6/21/2006 20:41:59 ET Guess we'll have to see how DeAngelo from Memphis turns out, huh? Yeah, I've got a good feeling this year is going to be the year for the Panthers. Especially now that the Hurricanes have won. Two professional sports championship in one year for North Carolina? Hell will have officially froze over. ------------------------------- #112 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Wednesday, 4/26/2006 10:58:20 ET Fur: I know you had injuries as well cuz you normal run a better team than last season. Oh well, everyone has bad years. Hopefully this year will be better. I also hope to not have to face you much cuz that combo will be tough. Hopefully Portis will continue the last 5 weeks of last season for this whole season. Looking forward to this season, because I think the league will be competitive. As far as the Panthers go; I am ready to see Lendale White called in first round and hopefully TE Pope in second round. We will see what happens, because I am still not secure on Foster as running back. ------------------------------- #111 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 4/3/2006 19:17:56 ET You're a Panthers fan too? Great! Yeah, now that we've got Keyshawn the future's looking even brighter than before. The perfect complement to Smith, and you know our orginazation will keep his 'tude in check. And you're right - the league champ is nobody, but if you think you had injury problems this last year you should have checked out my team. 1st round pick goes down two weeks in and I lost another two to three key players as the year went on. Don't worry though, just keep repeating these two names over and over - Larry Johnson and LaDanian Tomlinson. They'll both be on my team next year. Good luck Lizards. I need to remember to check in here from time to time. ------------------------------- #110 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Thursday, 3/23/2006 17:23:13 ET Nick, Your Brownies are making some moves this offseason. I expect them to improve next season. They still seem to need a "great" receiver though. QB is another worry, but anytime I bring it up, I always here "we have Frye". Well see next season what happens with them. Fur, How about our Panthers? Please let them sign Key Johnson. I know I can't stand him, but he catches everything thrown to him, and he does a great job blocking downfield. Maybe he and Smitty can get along. I hear Smitty actually talked to him about coming here. We need Ernie Sims in the first round. That guy is from my team, FSU, and would replace Spoon. He is a star in the first year with the right team. Could also use Lendale White though, and take AJ Nicolson in the 3rd round, cuz he is almost as good as Sims. What do you think? The league champion is "NOBODY." Coming to claim what is rightfully mine next season. This one was injury filled for me, and I couldn't recover. ------------------------------- #109 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Thursday, 2/2/2006 18:10:28 ET yep ------------------------------- #108 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 2/1/2006 22:52:47 ET yep. ------------------------------- #107 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 1/23/2006 22:53:24 ET Yeah, that was embarrasing last night. I'm still too sick to talk much about it. I'm trying to convince myself that things may have been different had we had Foster, but after that but-whooping I'm not so sure. Oh well, I still love my Panthers. And forget the Green Machine, man. We've got a great league going here, and then some guy that's abandoned his team wins the championship. At least no one has bragging rights whenever next season begins. ------------------------------- #106 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Monday, 1/23/2006 19:08:23 ET How can an abandoned team win the championship?...that's some crap....oh and how about your panthers fur?.....not that I have much room to talk my brownies suck...I accept it ------------------------------- #105 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 1/8/2006 16:34:31 ET A little off-season chat: How about my Panthers, huh? We're basically the same team we were two years ago during the super bowl run except we're better at cornerback. If we can get by Chicago next week I like our chances of going all the way. ------------------------------- #104 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Monday, 1/2/2006 6:19:32 ET Congrats Gren Machine ------------------------------- #103 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 1/2/2006 5:29:21 ET Congrats : Greenmachine? ------------------------------- #102 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 12/31/2006 20:50:03 ET Yeah, it's actually a little easier to bear my season now that the rest of you are out. If you don't win it all, I guess it really doesn't matter anyway. (Except for a regular season title - that's pretty cool.) ------------------------------- #101 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Saturday, 12/31/2005 7:53:37 ET I feel your pain! ------------------------------- #100 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Friday, 12/30/2005 18:00:48 ET yeah umm go hogs....not that I really care other than the fact that I really don't want to see an unmanaged team win the whole thing......I mean I already feel like crap that I let an unmanaged team beat me.....oh well I got 7 months to cry about it...if anyone needs me I'll be sobbing in the closet ------------------------------- #99 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 12/28/2005 22:06:36 ET Ah, the hogs verses green machine. Good luck, hogs. I can only wonder if I too would be in the championship if I hadn't made a roster move or changed my lineup all year like the green machine. ------------------------------- #98 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Tuesday, 12/27/2005 6:21:58 ET It's been a great year, lots of close games and some good trash talking. Good to all in the championship and Happy New Year! Will be looking to make a trade before next year drop me a email and lets make a deal. ------------------------------- #97 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 12/20/2005 17:33:21 ET Tough loss, Nick. I've been there before, great regular season and then lose out in the first round. And forget the Green Machine. That guy doesn't even manage his team. ------------------------------- #96 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Tuesday, 12/20/2005 17:16:19 ET yeah that didn't need to be there anymore...good luck to all still in...see ya around draft time ------------------------------- #95 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Monday, 12/19/2005 18:30:31 ET Dear Lord I need Green Bay shut out Matt Stover. Thank You, Nick ------------------------------- #94 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 12/13/2005 21:53:48 ET Thanks Fur Kinda ironic I played you in the last game. This season didnt start out so good for me after going 0-6. I thought for sure I would have the first pick next year. ------------------------------- #93 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 12/13/2005 17:16:41 ET Kikbooties - Never been so happy to lose to you. Congrats on the victory. To the Monkeys - Your team has been a great addition to the league. Good luck in the playoffs. To everybody else - I'll be watching the playoffs from the sidelines and may comment from time to time, but right now I'm just salivating at the prospect of starting off next season with Larry Johnson and Ladanian Tomlinson. ------------------------------- #92 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Tuesday, 12/13/2005 8:56:53 ET Congrats Fur LT and LJ will probably be unstoppable next year so See ya in the championship ------------------------------- #91 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 12/12/2005 23:49:25 ET Digital Fur GET the #1 Pick!!! Congrats Fur!! ------------------------------- #90 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 12/12/2005 22:37:14 ET Go Vick and Dunn! I'm actually pulling against my own team tonight, hoping for the loss so that I'll get next year's number 1 pick. I didn't throw the game though, as is evident by my 89 points. (I wait till now to score that many of course.) My pick for the playoffs - the hogs. They're old school omicron and ready for a title run. If you're in the playoffs, congrats - now that you're there anything can happen. ------------------------------- #89 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Monday, 12/12/2005 18:23:56 ET I will be back next year...I've been in and out of this league since the beginning....(the hogs were my misfits) good luck to all in the playoffs and in offseason indevors ------------------------------- #88 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Saturday, 12/10/2005 21:04:45 ET This has been a great year for this group, hopefully you all will be back next year. Many great battles plus some good trades something that has not happened in my other league. Good luck to all on the playoff run. ------------------------------- #87 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 12/8/2005 17:06:39 ET It's a fun league, and I think with all the talk on the message board we're going to make it a place where people want to stay. As for my year in the cellar, I just want to point out that last year Digital Fur scored more points than any other team in LEAGUE HISTORY. (Trying to do what I can to make myself feel better for such a poor season.) On that note, it does seem that everyone here does know their stuff. ------------------------------- #86 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Wednesday, 12/7/2005 8:17:39 ET I think a huge congrats goes out to everybody...I mean come on not a single team with double digit wins and all but one team (sorry Robert) playoff eligble with one week to go. This my fellow F.F. geeks is probably the most competitive league I have ever been in. ------------------------------- #85 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 12/6/2005 19:48:33 ET Hey good game, Thunder Lizards. Looks like I moved into first place in the Ladian Tomlinson sweepstakes. Our two teams have had some terrible luck this year, I mean look at our total points compared to the teams above us! If you sneak into the playoffs your guys will be dangerous. As for me, all I can do is look forward to having Larry Johnson and LT on the same team next year. ------------------------------- #84 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Tuesday, 12/6/2005 19:12:30 ET They both have tough matches and you out score them both with points so yuo do have a decent chance. ------------------------------- #83 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Tuesday, 12/6/2005 18:35:00 ET I made it to the playoffs with a 7-7 record last year and won. Is there a chance to make the playoffs this year with a possible 6-8 record? Only time will tell, but I don't feel good about the chances. Good luck to the teams that do. ------------------------------- #82 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Tuesday, 12/6/2005 13:38:37 ET On a 2 game losing streak it can only getter from here I hope. Happy Holidays to all. ------------------------------- #81 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Tuesday, 12/6/2005 8:36:44 ET Woohoo Tied for first....it's all downhill from here ------------------------------- #80 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 12/4/2005 17:56:31 ET Yeah Nick, I've had that problem with Manning in the past. He's let me down in the playoffs because the team starts benching him early in the last games. I almost wish that the commish would end the fantasy season with week 16; that way there would be a better chance that all teams would have their star players on the field. But what are you going to do? ------------------------------- #79 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 12/4/2005 13:02:37 ET For me it was a trade made with the long term in mind. However, it didn't mean that I was giving up on season. I still thought I could do some damage with the players I traded for, (and I still may!) ------------------------------- #78 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Sunday, 12/4/2005 1:03:42 ET Wow that was a good trade all around then. Well it was good for all teams not envolved that is... ------------------------------- #77 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Saturday, 12/3/2005 17:10:02 ET Dear God!! I just realized that an Indy win, Cincy and Denver loss and Indy pretty much clinches homefield at which time Dungy says he will bench Manning till the playoffs.....man I'm screwed ------------------------------- #76 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/29/2005 17:33:50 ET Yeah, that rant no longer needed to be there. ------------------------------- #75 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 11/28/2005 18:13:06 ET Oh Dear God, everyone's going to have to indulge me here for a minute. Seriously, Leftwich went down what, five minutes after I got him? And then Dante Hall has his game of the season, anyone of which could have put me back in the playoff race the last couple of weeks. Anway, at least Johnson played well. Thanks for the sympathy though Nick. Man, if you hadn't gotten Peyton you'd have really been screwed. ------------------------------- #74 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Monday, 11/28/2005 17:56:35 ET Sorry about Leftwich ------------------------------- #73 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 11/26/2005 22:22:45 ET Yeah, who knows, I may not even end up saving Johnson next year. For me it was just a matter of semantics, the price of keeping Manning when I know I can't save him for the opportunity at getting a good young running back. I'll miss Manning, though, even it's only for a few games. I can't tell you how many times he single-handedly won games for me. ------------------------------- #72 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Saturday, 11/26/2005 17:01:02 ET Yeah Johnson is a great player...I realy just don't like his attitude and didn't want to gamble on keeping him next year...maybe stupid for me...but hopefully Manning will take me all the way to the title. Pleasure doing business with you. ------------------------------- #71 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 11/26/2005 16:48:17 ET Sweet. Good deal for both teams, I think. Hopefully Johnson will pan out in the long run for me and Manning in the short run for you. ------------------------------- #70 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Saturday, 11/26/2005 16:32:35 ET accepted ------------------------------- #69 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 11/26/2005 16:20:38 ET I recountered. ------------------------------- #68 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Saturday, 11/26/2005 15:25:56 ET I just got the counter and recountered it ------------------------------- #67 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 11/26/2005 15:02:17 ET I emailed you back a counter offer and you never replied. ------------------------------- #66 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Saturday, 11/26/2005 14:55:16 ET I offered ------------------------------- #65 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 11/26/2005 14:10:02 ET The deadline nears and Manning is still on the block. Who's going to make the trade that puts them over the top? Blue Monkeys? ------------------------------- #64 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/22/2005 23:07:30 ET If somebody wants Peyton Manning I might be willing to part with him if it's return for a high potential back or receiver that I could save next year. Consider him if you think he might be what puts you over the top to get a championship. His numbers th last few weeks have been extraordinary, just like in the good old days. ------------------------------- #63 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Tuesday, 11/22/2005 19:45:06 ET I think that would be a good match up. Down with the Hogs. ------------------------------- #62 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Tuesday, 11/22/2005 19:10:49 ET I sent off some trades just for the sake of trading....does the team with no owner not have anyone to speak for them?....oh I and I hope I get to play the hogs in the playoffs...I seem to have their number this year. from your friendly trash talker Nick ------------------------------- #61 by: Pepe's Pickled Pigheads (John Higginbottom) on: Tuesday, 11/22/2005 18:44:05 ET Oh man, left 95 points on the bench this week and took the loss. Hope I can still turn it around. ------------------------------- #60 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/22/2005 16:46:30 ET That one hurt. Oh well, nothing else to do but keep plugging away. I knew I didn't have enough of a cushion going into Monday night. Good game, Fireflies ------------------------------- #59 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Tuesday, 11/22/2005 6:27:50 ET Good game digitalfur keep going you will amke the playoffs. Once there anything can happen. ------------------------------- #58 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 11/22/2005 0:29:45 ET WHOOO Hoooo!! Im back in the playoff RACE!! FYI to everyone , The deadline for trades are The start of week 12 which is THIS Thursday!! ------------------------------- #57 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Monday, 11/21/2005 21:34:28 ET Yes this win will do wonders for your chances of getting in, and once you get in anythign can happen. Does anybody get on the ventrilo ------------------------------- #56 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Monday, 11/21/2005 21:32:32 ET Yes this win will do wonders for your chances of getting in, and once you get in anythign can happen. ------------------------------- #55 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 11/21/2005 20:07:29 ET Yeah man, it's been a tough game so far. Hopefully (for me, at least) Meldewe doesn't put the sort of numbers he did last week. I hope I pull it out, because I need it to stay close in the playoff race. Good luck. ------------------------------- #54 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Monday, 11/21/2005 8:03:05 ET Digital far close match it was a tough game, know I need 4 point from a questionable guy. Good luck. That was a great post you made well thought out. Glad there is some action on the message board my other league is pretty quiet always good to do a little smack talking. ------------------------------- #53 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Saturday, 11/19/2005 21:55:54 ET Yeah man, I know your pain. Last year I scored more points than any other team in league history and promptly lost in the first round of the playoffs. Oh well. You've got a hell of a team there this year; I'm not looking forward to playing you in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the comments on my mid-season report. I really enjoy this league, and plan on staying in it for the foreseeable future. I hope to build the sort of comraderie here that makes the same owners want to come back season after season. ------------------------------- #52 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Saturday, 11/19/2005 13:53:03 ET Digital Fur, Robert Spencer, you are exactly correct with your assessment. Luck has run out for me this year so far. For some reason every team I play has superstar games by players that normally don't have them. Oh well, maybe I can be a killer to other teams hoping for a shot into the playoffs. I can score as many as Johnson and Moss will carry me. ------------------------------- #51 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Thursday, 11/17/2005 17:28:28 ET I can't believe how we have all ganged up on the hogs and they have only responded by beating us to death. Man that report was a great read... I delayed posting for a few days just so it would still be the last post. I am still willing to talk trade with anyone by the way. ------------------------------- #50 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 11/14/2005 22:24:12 ET My (just past) midseason report. #1 - hogs - oh those lovable lowercase hogs. Always a threat, Paul Moore has his boys leading the pack after the midway point. Built around Tom Brady, you know these guys won't settle for second place. (And maybe one day he'll change that h to an H. Ah, we can dream can't we.) #2 - Birdcatcher Ticks - one of the new guys at the top, he's staying strong behind the power running duo of Steven Jackson and Tiki Barber. But can Favre take the Ticks all the way? Only time will tell. #3 - One Eyed Blue Monkeys - if visions of a cycloptic primate doesn't make you fearful, these guys will. Their trashtalking owner (just kidding Nick) has the monkeys primed to pull a long postseason run. #4 - The Fireflys - The always understated Brian Dupuis has his boys tied for second. Since winning the title in 2001 the fireflys have been a bit of a dissapointment, posting back to back 5-9 seasons. But, with the coolest logo in the league, this might be the season they turn things around. #5 - Texas Tugboats - Thanks to the resurgence of Lamont Jordan Ken Elliot is just ahead of a slew of playoff-bubble teams. We'll see if the Tugboats keep it up. #6 - Wings and Beer - Oh whatever happened to those lovable 4-0 Wings and Beer boys. The five game losing has to have Kirk Slocum down, but in a crowded bottom half, he still has a strong shot at the playoffs. #7 - Backyard Broncos - (no owner, ah screw em.) #8 - Pepe's Pickled Pigheads - After last years surprsing title run Higinbottom's boys are staying in the race behind Corey Dillon and a resurgent Drew Bledsoe. #9 - Green Machine - No one's managing this team! Honest! I just beat them wiht Joe Horn in their lineup during his bye week. (And until this week they've been ahead of me in the standing. How bad is that.) #10 - Digital Fur - After leading the league in points last year and making it to the title game two years ago the Fur has fallen on hard times. Manning's late season resurgence however may keep other owners awake at night if they squeeze into the playoffs. #11 - Thunder Lizards - Ignore the record, you don't want to face these guys. If the total points attest to anything, it's the David Brittain is struggling more with luck than his managerial skills. Look for the Lizards to either sneak in the playoffs late or play heartbreaker to other teams at the end of the season. #12 - Igwanna Kikbooties - Best Team Name ever. After last year's 8-6 post the Kikbooties have struggled with injuries during the 2005 campaign. If Steve King has anything to do with it, they'll be back and strong in 06. ------------------------------- #49 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Friday, 11/11/2005 6:39:10 ET Just having some fun. I wish I had back know since my other star reciever wanted to get suspended. ------------------------------- #48 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Thursday, 11/10/2005 20:30:43 ET Well that's nice....anyway I probably shouldn't have picked on someone who is tied with me. ------------------------------- #47 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Thursday, 11/10/2005 16:02:04 ET I wiil trade ownes for terry gleen may he brake his ankle ------------------------------- #46 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Wednesday, 11/9/2005 19:14:34 ET I'm sure nobody here will take what you said personally. By the way, good season you have going for you there. I remember wistfully my days at the top of the league... ------------------------------- #45 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Wednesday, 11/9/2005 8:50:14 ET Hey it was all in good fun. I had just gotten through listening to Rosenhaus say "Next question" about a dozen times, and then I read that people want to "liven up" the board. Oh well ------------------------------- #44 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Tuesday, 11/8/2005 20:35:11 ET That is very true Still looking to trade T.O. ------------------------------- #43 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/8/2005 20:20:10 ET Word to the wise - make fun of a guy you trade with and chances are he'll never trade with you again in the future. ------------------------------- #42 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Tuesday, 11/8/2005 18:17:46 ET Ok you guys wanna liven things up.... Well here it goes. I'd just like to thank The Fireflys for giving the best reciever off of their team for a spare like Rudi Johnson. ------------------------------- #41 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/8/2005 17:54:58 ET Yeah, I'm just trying to liven things up. Everyone in this league should give some sort of midseason report on how their team is doing. As for me, after two years at or near the top, I'm crapping out in the cellar. (But not out of the playoffs yet, baby!) ------------------------------- #40 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 11/8/2005 15:04:43 ET "devoted digital fur FANS??????" ------------------------------- #39 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Tuesday, 11/8/2005 11:28:59 ET I just want to thank all of the devoted Digital Fur fans out there who have stuck with us through the thick and thin (mostly thin) of this season. After three nail-biting losses I believe we may have turned the corner here this week with a win over Pepe's. Sure, the GM work hasn't been the best, (who would've known Mike Anderson would steal most of Tatum Bell's touchdowns inside the ten? and who could've guessed Frank Gore could've won us two games if he'd been on the field instead of on the bench?) but that's all behind us now. We have every intention of making a strong push for the playoffs now, and if we don't make it, you can blame bad luck, and not the GM. ------------------------------- #38 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Monday, 10/31/2005 7:17:36 ET Looking for a reciever ------------------------------- #37 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 10/16/2005 23:02:07 ET Oh well, some of those guys have already traded teams now. In the future if I have any other trade ideas that spark my interest I'll post them on the board. ------------------------------- #36 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Friday, 10/14/2005 23:44:07 ET Nope...Don't know why ------------------------------- #35 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Friday, 10/14/2005 17:54:10 ET Just out of curiosity, did you ever receive my trade offer? (One-eyed blue monkeys) ------------------------------- #34 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Friday, 10/14/2005 14:43:56 ET Thank you...I might have given up a good RB but I now have one decent reciever ------------------------------- #33 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Friday, 10/14/2005 6:35:46 ET I would but I just traded my other reciever. ------------------------------- #32 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Thursday, 10/13/2005 21:08:30 ET hey brian, Ill trade you Warrick Dunn and David Givens for Terrell Owens. Both are able to be saved for next year while Owens isnt. Let me know Steve King omicron Igwanakikbooties ------------------------------- #31 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 10/13/2005 18:35:55 ET Yeah, I did. If your email's not working try mine on the website. I sent one to your link from your team page. Actually, I think I sent you one earlier in the season too. You must not have gotten it. ------------------------------- #30 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Thursday, 10/13/2005 18:16:09 ET Did you send one to me? ------------------------------- #29 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 10/13/2005 15:58:27 ET I've sent out some feelers, let me know what you all think. ------------------------------- #28 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Thursday, 10/13/2005 9:34:03 ET looking for a trade also let me know. ------------------------------- #27 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Wednesday, 10/12/2005 19:22:26 ET Anybody wanna trade? and what happened to our gentle trash talk no one has posted but me in quite some time. ------------------------------- #26 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Monday, 9/26/2005 8:33:14 ET Man that really sucks...who would have thought their defense would be what made them win this year.....and oh yeah.....finally someone on my team lives up to the hype!!!! ------------------------------- #25 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 9/25/2005 16:41:16 ET Two weeks in a row and Peyton Manning throws for no touchdowns! Are you kidding me? I don't have a chance if this is going to be the case all season. ------------------------------- #24 by: Pepe's Pickled Pigheads (John Higginbottom) on: Friday, 9/16/2005 19:44:51 ET I got Willie but I didn't draft him. I picked him up when I found out Duce and The Bus were injured. I am a Bills fan and Parker ran all over the Bills at the end of last season playing with second stringers because the Steelers had clinched already. I already have 3 good backs though so trade offers are welcome. ------------------------------- #23 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Friday, 9/16/2005 17:51:08 ET That was indeed a brilliant pick. Needless to say I am shocked and dumbfounded by my core of should be superstar backs....man I am still slapping my head over last week ------------------------------- #22 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 9/15/2005 18:39:28 ET Hey, hey, what a week 1! Low scores all over the board. Who picked Willie Parker in the draft? Didn't see that one coming. ------------------------------- #21 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Sunday, 8/28/2005 17:38:34 ET Looking for a trade get with me to see if we can work something out ------------------------------- #20 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 8/28/2005 15:31:13 ET Yeah, good draft. The hogs took the player I wanted the pick before mine at last three times. Oh well. ------------------------------- #19 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Saturday, 8/27/2005 21:12:10 ET Good draft everybody... ------------------------------- #18 by: TheFireflys (Brian Dupuis) on: Saturday, 8/13/2005 7:00:53 ET I used to be to be leaguge royalaty and have slid down the ranks this year I will be moving back up. Hopefully!!! good luck all. ------------------------------- #17 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Tuesday, 8/9/2005 19:54:13 ET Robert (Digital Fur) I am now league royalty, wow that is funny. I actually do enjoy playing against a group of people that I know, or at least that plays the league instead of drafting and quitting then. I wish you all the best in this league. Now that I was the champion last year, it is time to repeat. See you in the season Digital Fur. Hello to all the new owners. I would recommend to you all to read the rules thoroughly before the season begins to grasp the way the league works. And yes the hogs should be the Hogs. ------------------------------- #16 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Monday, 8/8/2005 18:02:22 ET Yeah, this is the sort of rapport that we need here. Like the One-eyed blue monkeys owner said, I'd rather compete against either friends or enemies than complete strangers. That's why I'm a really big fan of the hall of fame link on this website, it keeps a sense of continuity going for the league. For example, playing against the Thunder Lizards my first year, I felt like I was going against league royalty. Hope to hear soon from more of you. ------------------------------- #15 by: Wings and Beer (Kirk Slocum) on: Monday, 8/8/2005 7:07:32 ET Well here in upstate NY everything is pretty laid back, and being nrew to the league I thought I should keep a LOW profile. This league is a lot differant than other leagues I've been in and looks like my work is cut out for me to improve and be competitive. Also, you're right why isn't hogs - Hogs. Seemds only correct to get that corrected. Wings and Beer ------------------------------- #14 by: One Eyed Blue Monkeys (Nick Busch) on: Sunday, 8/7/2005 21:57:11 ET Hey it's nice to see someone actually writing something on here... I think most people don't even know this is here. I would love for it to feel like I am playing against friends...enemies...anything other than complete strangers....and by the way I second that with the Hogs. ------------------------------- #13 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Friday, 8/5/2005 16:45:34 ET Let's liven things up around here a bit. I've been in this league for three years now and the only thing I wish it had was a bit more sense of community. So come on, a little trash talk or something! Alright, I'll start things off. How about a petition to make the hogs change that h to a capital letter. Anybody? :) ------------------------------- #12 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 7/28/2005 22:45:42 ET I will consider trading Peyton Manning for a first round pick without giving up my own if anyone is interested in having Manning as a FP. Would work best for teams without a quality FP who think having Manning would be worth giving up the pick. If interested, let me know! ------------------------------- #11 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Monday, 1/3/2005 0:58:12 ET Congrats Thunder Lizards! I knew you could do it! ------------------------------- #10 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 12/30/2004 12:29:13 ET Good luck to you both (he says, still smarting over his first round exit.) :) ------------------------------- #9 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Wednesday, 12/29/2004 13:29:43 ET Igwana Kikbooties, Thanks for the vote of confidence. I was lucky to even be in it this year. I had many different injuries to overcome, and I was very lucky. I wish we could have faced each other in the finals, though. Good luck next season. I will be looking forward to our rematch! Have a great New Years. David Brittain Thunder Lizards ------------------------------- #8 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Friday, 12/24/2004 18:18:34 ET Well, I bowed out early in the first round. Since thunder lizards beat me, I do wish him the best, but... I will get you next year! ------------------------------- #7 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Sunday, 12/19/2004 9:49:25 ET Easier said than done. ------------------------------- #6 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Wednesday, 12/15/2004 9:29:47 ET 1ST Round! Dont..... Get ....... Eliminated......!!! ------------------------------- #5 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Sunday, 8/1/2004 12:23:08 ET Looking to trade for some Draft Picks: Mike vanderjagt or Jeff Wilkins for a 5th Round pick(Both scored more then Shaun Alexander last year), Jeff Garcia for a 6th round pick,Kurt Warner for a 6th round pick,Charles Rogers for a 6th round pick. Let me know if your interested Steve-Igwana Kikbooties ------------------------------- #4 by: Digital Fur (Robert Spencer) on: Thursday, 7/29/2004 18:33:53 ET Fred Taylor or Travis Henry for a draft pick, anyone? Both can be saved as a FP or TP if interested. Running backs are always a premium in the draft. ------------------------------- #3 by: Igwana Kikbooties (Steve King) on: Tuesday, 7/27/2004 11:25:53 ET looking to trade Kurt Warner or jeff Garcia for draft picks looking for a 7th or 8th round . These guys wont last that long so will be a good deal for anyone who jumps on it!! ------------------------------- #2 by: Thunder Lizards (David Brittain) on: Wednesday, 7/14/2004 11:10:05 ET I am looking to make trades for draft picks or players currently on my team. Send me some offers if you are interested in dealing. ------------------------------- #1 by: Commissioner (Mike Stanley) on: Thursday, 7/8/2004 18:09:47 ET The League Message Board is now available for use. It can be used by league members to post notes relevant to the whole league. It is not moderated.
